Henry Customer Letters

I just wanted to write and thank you for such a fine rifle. The .22 Survival is a nice shooting gun. It's great for squirrel hunting and small game. I put a little 3x7x20 scope on it and it will drive nails at 50 yards with CCI mini mag. Keep up the good work.

Having recently 'spoken' with you regarding the butt cap for my Henry Survival Rifle I thought you'd like to know about my wife's new acquisition: a Henry H001L Lever Action .22. There was a gun show here in Kansas City yesterday and, after looking at every gun there, this was the one she found that she liked the best. We've also been looking at guns at the various shops around the area but none of them have had this model in stock. It's the shorter, youth model with the 12-round capacity and the larger lever. She was quite pleased with the way it looked and felt, and likes the simplicity of the lever action. Being left-handed as well as tiny, she likes the fact that she doesn't have to worry about brass flying at her face on every shot.

We took it home, cleaned it and went over basic operation, then went to the range. I took along my trusty Survival Rifle to make it an all Henry Rifle trip. Both weapons performed flawlessly and she was extremely accurate with her new acquisition. She enjoyed it so much she's even thinking about going out to see if she can hit some non-paper squirrels / rabbits.

Wow, What a Company!

I can say nothing but good about your company and it's products.   And to think, it's right here in the USA! I have had my GB rifle for about 17 months and love it, of course.   I just returned from a prairie dog shooting trip with a guy who was shooting a well-known competitors rifle in 22 LR.  My GB outshot his by a wide margin, and of course the magnum caliber was so much more effective. I have sent emails to your firm several times asking some technical questions and in every case I received an immediate response, usually within hours!   But recently I sent an email asking a technical question and expressing a concern about my rifle.  I received a reply within hours, with the answer to the question, and a question for me.   You wanted my address so that a new part could be sent to my home, and I received it just a few days later.   Now that part is an expensive part, and it is to replace a simple cosmetic flaw on my rifle, which is way out of warranty!   Friends that is real service from any company, especially from a company that makes a very fine product and prices it very reasonably. I have rifles that I paid thousands of dollars for, but the Henry is still the best, most reasonable purchase that I have made. You have made a customer for life, and I will do my best to pass on to others my experience with your product.   Thank You, thank you,

Who said "lightning doesnt strike twice"? Whoever it was sure didnt know about Henry Repeating Arms of Brooklyn New York. A few years ago I purchased your Golden Boy .22 - a rifles that has more bullets through it than all of my other rifles and shotguns combined - and still is as accurate and trouble free all these years later! Several weeks ago while shooting the Golden Boy at our range, a friend let me try his Henry Varmint Express .17HMR - just as your Golden Boy blew me away, so did this beauty.

The joy of your guns come in many features - looks, quality, ease of use, capacity, a definite plus over many of the more expensive so called big brand names. Your company can be compared to Henry Ford and their auto manufacturing - giving the consumer a well made, safe and affordable product that will bring many years of reliability and enjoyment. Guess you can tell by this letter that I now have my own Henry Varmint Express 17HMR. Sure as heck do!

Keep up the good work your doing. I own a Golden Boy 22Mag and bought a 22 Lever action youth model earlier this year to teach my kids with. I put a Williams FP Receiver sight and cut a dove tail in the front ramp to put a longer sighting plane on the youth model. It shoots great with shorts or long rifle, never a feeding problem! I received your catalog a few weeks ago, and after looking it over I went out and bought a Model H001. I was amazed at how smooth the action works & how well made it is for the price. With open sights it is about as accurate as my Remington 552 BDL, w/scope. I showed it off to a few members at the gun club & they really liked it too. Hi-- Just wanted to say last week I purchased one of your H001 rifles. I intentionally took it Squirrell Hunting without ever firing a shot at Targets or anything else to see how it shot. I only fired one round but it was a Head shot and I was impressed with the Rifle. When I put it up to my shoulder everything seems to feel just right. I have a Remington Auto 22 also but it will probably spend most of its time setting now. Thanks for making this product.
