Henry Customer Letters

Dear Henry I would like to thank you for making the best firearm I have ever owned. I went to my mailbox and received the May issue of the American Rifleman. On page 74 was the story about the Henry Big Boy. That same day I was able to get to the gun store and what do you think he had on the rack? It just came in, a Henry Big Boy. The store was somewhat busy and there were 4 or 5 guys ahead of me. I could see that they only had one and I happened to yell to the front of the line that I wanted the gun. The clerk yelled back it's yours.

Hi, I came to buy a henry because of many reasons. First it was very affordable compared to winchesters, marlins and brownings. Second I like that it was compact and a very handy rifle to operate and carry. I also like the action, very smooth and easy. I also liked the way it looked, very classic. I did lots of reading in forums and magazines about different 22 levers and decided to go with the Henry. Everyone I show it too just loves the little gun.

Yesterday I purchased my first .22 Henry rifle, a H001. It's a fine piece craftsmanship! Nice balance, and very smooth action! When my grandson gets a little older, I will teach him how to safely handle and use a firearm. His father is a hunter also, and I'm sure he will want to use the rifle on occasion. Some day my grandson will have it for his very own. Until then, I am going to use, and enjoy the rifle myself! It's a fine looking rifle!

I've had the pleasure of plinking with my Henry lever.22 for a little over a year and it's the most fun and accurate .22 I've owned. I recently added a BSA .22 special 3x9 scope and I am hitting pennies 5 out of 5 at 35 yards.

I am the proud owner of  a .22 Goldenboy. I fell in love with the rifle when I first read about it in "American Hunter". Upon arriving back in the lower 48 states from a firefighting season in Alaska I had to buy one. I love the rifle and shoot it weekly. I was looking through your line of products and immediately saw the Henry "Big Boy". I was wondering if there has been any consideration in chambering it in a .357 magnum/.38 special? I know you would have one sold right here for sure.

I bought one of your .22 rifles about three years ago and I can't say enough nice things about it. I'd never owned a lever action before but had always wanted one when I spotted yours at a local retailer. I had a Rossi .22 magnum pump at the time and I immediately sold it and used the money for a down payment on the Henry. Talk about money well spent! I love that little rifle. I just received my Big Boy yesterday and although I haven't fired it yet, just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the quality and workmanship. The action is much smoother than my Winchester's or Marlins and the simplicity and beauty of design are reminiscent of the Old West.
