Henry Customer Letters
Dear Folks at Henry, I just purchased a Minibolt for my 6 year old daughter , Catie. I had looked at these in passing a just passed them off as kids guns ie not well built and poor accuracy. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!!
This is the best made single shot .22 on the market. Accuracy? Try 1 1/4" at 70 yards on my home range.
My only complaint is Make one to fit me!!!!! Hope you can see your way to make these in adult size in .22 lr , .22mag, and 17hmr.
When Catie was 1 month old I purchased a Marlin Youth gun for her . When she was 5 , the gun was just to heavy to even consider her using it. Last week end she wanted to shoot and tried but it was not to much fun, still to heavy. Went by a gunshop few days later and she said that was the gun for her.
We are responsible shooters , members of NRA and keep guns locked away and out of reach of children.
Please continue to manufacture your fine firearms .
To: Anthony Imperato, President,
Within the last two weeks I had purchased an AR-7 and a Lever action .22LR. I took them both to the range this past weekend and both shot right on the money, no adjustments were necessary. I just wanted to thank the Henry team for producing a fine weapon at a great price.

Dear Mr. Imperato
Just recently I purchased one of your Henry Big Boy rifles. I want to let you know how pleased I am with the style and workmanship of this rifle. The weight, accuracy, and smooth operation make this .44 a pleasure to shoot. I've owned Winchesters, Brownings, and Marlin rifles: none have the accuracy of your Henry! I am looking forward to many years of service for hunting and target shooting. As a wish list rifle, I would like to see your company come out with a .45-70. This is the first rifle I purchased from your company. Keep up the good work. As you know there are many lever action fans throughout the country that would love to own one of these Henry Big Boys.
I purchased a .17 Varmint last September for a trip to our ranch in West Texas for some prairie dog shooting. I topped the rifle with a 3x9 Leupold Rifleman scope. This made a deadly combination out to 200 yards. Your .17 cal is a fantastic shooter and almost as accurate as my .17 cal Anschutz target gun but capable of rapid fire as in chasing down a running coyote. Your .17 Varmint with the Leupold Rifleman make a deadly, cost effective combination for some fun varmint shooting and plinking.
I previously bought a Remington .17 cal model 597. I was so disappointed with its accuracy and the fact that it jammed often, I gave it away to our ranch foreman. Your .17 is, hands down, a much more accurate, dependable and fun to shoot, weapon. Keep up the 144 year old tradition.
P.S. - the .17 would look really good in a Golden Boy edition.

Dear Louis and Anthony,
Just a few words of praise for such a fine product. I saw a picture of a goldenboy and wanted one because of the look. My wife gave me one for my 55th birthday. I was amazed at the workmanship of this Henry Rifle. It is the smoothest operating rifle I have ever had, not to mention the accuracy and good looks. I just gave my 8 year old grandson a youth model lever action for Christmas this year. I am sure there will be more Henry's in my family.
Please convey my thanks to your employees for careing enough to make such a fine rifle. It would be great if you would put the green sights on the youth lever action as you do on the mini bolt, it would make the sights easer to see.
Thank you all again.
Just a short note to let you know, that I received a Henry Golden Boy 22 for Christmas and I was thrilled to death. The rifle is simply fantastic.
Thank you very much for such a beautiful and well made firearm.
Hi Henry Makers,
My Dad just got me a Henry .22 cal LR Goldenboy for 2003 Christmas and i shot it the day after and i would like to say that i love it.
I'm 14 yrs old and i've shot my dad's 44-40 Lever Action Winchester Puma and i prefer to shoot my Goldenboy because of the easy loading in the tube and it's accuracy. I personally love the sweet, smooth action of the lever on the Goldenboy. On my dad's winchester it's really rough but the Goldenboy lever is effortless.
Thanx for this amazing gun, keep up the good work!!!!!!!
Dear Mr Imperato
I gave my 2 grandsons their Henry rifles and the patches you sent them for Christmas and they were almost in tears with delight. They really liked the special letter you sent to each of them, it made it really special.
Thanks again, I will always appreciate what you did and will be a Henry supporter for ever.

I have owned probably 15 .22 rifles in my long life, and for value and smoothness of operation, this Henry is among the very best! What a simple, smooth mechanism!

You are one class act...Thank you again.
I bought a Henry 22 rifle about 2 years ago. I have owned Marlin rifles & Itaca's & by far the Henry is the ultimate rifle thanks for bringing them back.
My son just gave me one of your .44 mag. Big Boy rifles. I just want to say thanks for making such a functional weapon. It is solid as it should be and just down right a thing of beauty that gives security in this troubled world. My wife has laid claim to it and enjoys shooting it.
Keep up the good work and I hope you sell all you can make.

Enclosed please find family photo. It's easy to see that the Henry line is well covered and thought of. Since my first name is Henry, it makes it easy to say that I own every "Henry" made except the silver survival rifle which is on backorder.

I just purchased your Henry Lever Action .22 rifle, Model H001. There is only one word to describe it..."WOW!" The rifle is truly a beautiful piece. The American walnut stock is unique, richly marked with age rings. The action is incomparable. I describe it as glass sliding over glass. It is so smooth! You all have really done an excellent job of manufacturing a clearly superior product at a more than reasonable price. I have a .22 cal. Marlin 39M "Mountie." While the Marlin is a quality firearm, the Henry action again is clearly so much smoother.
I also have a work about your product brochure. I am the Executive Director of a professional organization of engineers in private practice, an my staff and I produce a number of brochures for my members and prospective members. Your company brochure is top notch! Your Public Relations department has done a masterful job of producing a very attractive brochure. It is an easy read, a great layout, and it helped reinforce my decision to purchase the H001 rifle.
Thank you for personifying the American spirit... offering an impressive line of firearms at a better than competitive price.
Sold on Henry and with faith in America, I remain

Dear Sirs: Yesterday I purchased a Henry Golden Boy 22LR. The purpose of this letter is to commend your company for manufacturing such a fine product. I'm not a hunter but I like guns and I own a few. When I opened the carton, and looked at the rifle I was amzed, the polished brass, the walnut stock, the bluing and the action - everything is absolutley flawless. This kind of craftsmanship exemplified in your guns is very rare. You can and should be very proud. Congratulations on producing a truly fine product.
I'm writing to tell you that I've never in my 49 years (42 years of shooting), handled a firearm like yours. I have handled such as a M-60, M-16, .308Winchester, .45ACP, Colt 45, 9mm SW, BUT when I looked at the Golden Boy 22 sitting on the wall at my local gun shop, it seemed to jump out at me. I took it in my hands and it was love at first sight. The feel, the action, was so smooth, I just had to have it. After one box of sheels, I knew this gun was going to last a lifetime. Thank you for making a work of art that nobody could ever match in my lifetime or theirs. Finally someone has pride in their workmanship. Thanks so much.
I just bought a Henry Lever Carbine .22 with the large loop lever and want to thank you for producing a quality rifle at a reasonable price. It is wonderful to see such pride in workmanship.
Thank you again and I know enjoy this rifle for many years to come and I will always recommend the Henry.
My wife recently purchased a .22 lever action rifle for me. I like it better than any .22 repeater I've ever owned. I have owned several Glenfield and Marlin semi-autos, and they were not as accurate or as smooth as this Henry lever. I even like it better than my Ruger 10-22. Its accuracy and ease of handling quickly made it the rifle I carry every time I'm in the field or the woods. I fitted it with a 3 x 9 power scope to try it on squirrels, and it has now become my favorite rifle for every application. I only own one .22 rifle that is more accurate, and it is a single shot Mossberg target rifle--not much good for anything except teaching my children marksmanship skills. You build a wonderful rifle. I would like some information on getting a replacement stock for the rifle. I recently dropped it, an split the butt-stock. Please respond so that I can put my rifle back in service as soon as possible.
I just purchased your .44mag. Goldenboy. Never before in my 49 years of shooting have I seen the accuracy like this rite out of the box. Do have any suggested Amunition. Thank you for this fine firearm.
