Henry Customer Letters
I called you on Dec. 31st. at about 3:00 in the afternoon at the No. listed on your web site and you answered the phone. You said you were closed but you were still willing to talk to me. I wanted to know some things about the Big Boy .44. You were very helpful and told me some history about the Henry Rifles. I have 44 guns in my gun collection. I have added all the 4 Golden Boys and was wondering if the 17 was going to be in the golden line up soon or not. The quality of your Henry Rifles is incredible. I love to clean and polish my guns and just admire them. I shot the .22 and 22 mag and I am very impressed with the smooth mechanism and are very accurate right out of the box. I am glad a company can make a quality gun at a very good price. I hope you company stays in the Henry rifle gun business for many years.
I seen a good artical in my nra magazine on you're rifles, and the next day i went to my gun dealer and bought the 22 magnum golden boy. He had to order it and i had to wait a week,it was worth the wait !!!. The picture does not do the gun justice...what a beautiful gun and nice smooth action. This gun has now become my favorite in my collection and the most fun to shoot,my friends just about fell over when i told them what i paid for it...i had to show them my receipt !!!
I want to share with you some of the many thoughts that I have of Henry Repeating's products. I have owned several lever-action 22's over the years and I have yet to find one...I mean One...that meets Henry's quality and standards. I have the same Henry 22 lever-action that I was given when I was 8 years old, almost 20 years ago,and it has yet to fail me. It has never jammed,locked-up,etc...It's perfect!!
I recommend Henry's rifles to everyone that inquires me about them, from beginning shooters to the pro's. These guns meet the standards of each class. My Henry has been through it all,Rain,Sleet,Snow,etc... You name it, it's been through it. And, it's still here and surviving strongly. I love taking my boy out every Saturday morning during squirrel season and having some fun. By the way, I bought him a Henry lever-action exactly like mine and he loves his almost as much as I love mine. These guns are the best and I want to personally Thank You for standing behind what you sell and knowing how to provide pro-quality firearms at an excellent, Built-In-The-USA,price. You can't get any better than that.I know that I will be buying many more Henry's in the future.
My Name is Toby. I bought one of your Golden Boy rifles a couple of years ago and its great. I have 2 sons and I'm going to by another and give each of them one. They are truly a great gun.
Three days ago I purchased the mod.H001 Lever Action 22. I have to tell you, it's the sweetest little rifle I've ever held in my hands. I also have a Marlin bolt mag. and a Ruger carbine. Neither one of them have the comfortable feel that this Henry has. I've shown it to several of my friends, and they were as impressed as I am. I think my Marlin and Ruger are going to get rusty. Keep up the good work guys.
Hi, I recently purchased a Henry 22 Pump. The folks at Cabela's were great. They order it, and when it came it I had a Cabela's Pine Ridge 4X scope installed on it. They boresighted the gun for me.
My first trip hunting for squirrels, I got 6 and all them head shots. One at over 40yrds.
The gun is great. Especially for this 61 yr. old. It's light, accurate and very resonably priced.
Thanks, and keep up the great work. It's nice to find a American Made gun with high quality and resonable price.

My wife bought me a Henery 22 lever action rifle for Christmas. I love it!! I put a bushnel 3x9 scope on it and would reccomend your products to anyone.
My name is Wayne Fariss and i just purchased one of your Henry Rifles. This is a first for me and will not be the last. I have shot Marlin's , Winchester's, Savage's, Ruger's and countless other brands and models of 22. Your lever action is by far the best investment I have made. The accuracy and simplicity of it all is terrific and it really turns heads at the local gun range and at shooting matches. I like to shoot it Iron Sight and prefer not to place any optics on it. the accuracy of this little gun is just unreal. I can plink soda cans every shot at 75-100 yds with ease and not have the worry of jamming like the semi autos tend to do. Like I said above this is the best investment I have made and will not be the last , I plan on being a repeat buyer of Henry's for now on.
Just today picked up my Golden Boy large lever .22 Rifle. Looks super and the action is smooth as any I've ever felt. I got it for rifle instruction with my 12 year old grandson who i plan to take hunting after we have several sessions together...Great for comradeship...And eventually, it will be his gun. I took the gun right out to my back woods shooting range and shot a box of federal long rifle shells. I ordered a scope mount with the gun, but for some reason, it did not arrive with the gun. So, I was shooting open sight, and what a surprise, the gun right out of the box gave me a quarter inch grouping with the first three rounds at 50 yards.
Thanks for a super little gun that i know we will love the more we shoot it.
I received a Henry Golden Boy 22 cal rifle for Christmas from my wife and her parents. I believe it is one of the most beautiful rifles I have owned and it is a delight to shoot. The action of the rifle is very smooth. My wife has shot the rifle and she loves it. After shooting the rife my wife has told everybody that it is hers.
Thank you for making a great rifle and for making it fun to shoot.
I just purchased a Henry 22 Pump Rifle. This is the second Henry Rifle I have purchased, and I plan to buy more. I love every thing about them. Last year I purchased a Lever Action . 22, and I could not believe how well it performed right out of the box. My nine year old fell in love with it also. This is why I will have to buy more. I have three children, here on the farm.
Thanks for the quality and the price. These Henry's are my (our) favorite's.
I am a novice shooter, who has come to the sport only within the past year. I have been shooting a .38 revolver, and a .45 black powder revolver, along with a Marlin .22 semi-automatic rifle. I enjoyed the rifle, but as it is my husband's, it didn't fit me well and I wanted one of my own.
My husband took me to a large gunshop in our area this weekend so I could chose one. I'm a small woman, so finding a long gun that fits "off the rack" is difficult, more so because I wanted a lever-action .22 with iron sights rather than a scope.
Your Henry Youth model was a perfect fit, and its beauty appealed to me as well.
I have fired two boxes of ammo through it already, and the admiration and affection I feel for this little rifle has gone far beyond aesthetic appreciation.
Without any adjustments to the sights, I am consistently unloading it in the ten-ring!
The action is smooth as warm butter, and the trigger pull is crisp and light.
The rifle may have been manufactured at your plant in Brooklyn, but as far as I'm concerned, it was a match made in heaven for me.
It proudly hangs on our living room wall, (unseating my husband's .22 *wink*) and will get much use as I work to hone my markmanship.
My goal is to go deer-hunting, so as I work on my shooting skills, I'm saving my spare dollars... I have my eye on your Big Boy .44!
Thank you for making such a finely crafted firearm available at such a reasonable price.
I took delivery of my Henry Big Boy last Thursday. It's a beautiful piece of American craftsmanship. It exceeded my expectations. Thank you and all of your staff. I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy and appreciate this fine rifle for many years in the future.
Today I purchased the "Big Boy" and I love it. The smooth action and accuracy make it a pleasure to shoot. This is my first lever action rifle, but if you release a .45-70 it won't be my last.
I apprciate you qucik response..The Golden Boy is an outstansing rifle..The Rolls Royce of Lever Rifles..which is why I will purchase th 44 rifle soon.A very good product and American made..you should be proud of your staff and company...Thank You!
Hello again, from Gerald Underwood. I shot a doe at 150 yards with my .44 Big Boy this past year. what a gun! I prefer it over my weatherby .300 mag. My question is, do you sell flip-up peep sights for long range shooting, or do you know if creedmore makes a sight that will fit the Big boy? If you have any information I would be gratefull if you would share with me,
I purchased an H001 lever action .22 last summer. I use it mainly for shooting at targets, squirrels, and rabbits. I mounted an inexpensive 3X9 scope on it. It is really fun to shoot, is accurate, easy to clean, and was well worth the cost. I'd recommend one to anyone wanting to shoot a lever action .22.
I purchased a Henry Golden Boy 22 mag recently and only had to make a minor adjustment to the windage. And was able to hit the center of a 50 foot target at 50 yards away with open sites.
It is the finest rifle I have added to my collection so far.
And I can't wait to get a hold of a Henry Big Boy 44,To add to it also.
Guess what I got for Christmas?
Wild Wonderful West Virginia
I am a proud owner of a recently purchased Golden Boy-- outstanding in all respects. Are there any plans to manufacture your .17 In a Golden Boy edition? You would sell a zillion--I'll buy the first one. Thank you for all the pleasure you are bringing to avid lever action fans with your magnificent firearms.
I appreciate your rapid response. I already own the 22 mag. Golden Boy, and am extremely pleased with it. I have several friends who have purchased Golden Boys after trying out mine.
I intend to purchase the Big Boy for myself in the near future, as well as the 22 Golden Boy for my wife.
Keep up the fine work!
