Henry Customer Letters
Dear Mr. Imperato:
Yesterday my son and I shot my new Henry lever-action .22 rifle for the first time. I am new to shooting, and not much of a shot, but was able to shoot some good groups with the Henry straight out of the box! My son Adam -- a far better shot than I am -- did even better.
The action is smooth as silk. Now, I realize that I need:
1) A Henry .17 HMR lever-action;
2) A Henry .22 Magnum lever-action; and
3) A Henry .44 Magnum lever-action with the octagonal barrel;
and I'll go away quietly and there won't be any trouble. (My wife asked me recently if I didn't think 5 guns was enough, and I said, "Well, I'm going to have to give one away, because I already have 6!" (The three above will make 9.)
These are some beatiful rifles, indeed! Thank you for making them.

Hi I just bought a Henry Lever Action 22 LR and its the most accurate gun I have ever shot, and trust me when I say that I've shot a lot of guns in my life. So I just wanted to thank you for making such a quality gun and I ask you to continue the excellent job.
just bought a henry lever action .22 L.R. nice high quality rifle. beautiful appearance and great price. it really is about 1/2 the price of the others. it does have the appearance of a more expensive gun.
After some research, I am now the proud owner of a Golden Boy .22 Magnum. I have alway's wanted a .22 mag. and I now have one of the best. After I brought my rifle home, it was love at first shot. The feel and action of this fine rifle is indescribable. I have never shot such a fine rifle in my life.
I go out looking for reasons to shoot now. Keep up the good work, and I will tell you that this won't be my last Henry.
Gentlemen (and Ladies):
While having one of my rifles bore sighted earlier today, I spotted a beautiful rifle in the shop that caught my eye real quick. I have always been a lover of classic firearms, and have spent most of my hunting years using standard open sight rifles. My children used to tease me about my preferences until one day (in front of them) I shot a deer between the eyes at 75 yards from a no rest standing position. They pretty much leave me alone now.
I am now the proud owner of your .22 Magnum Golden Boy rifle which I purchased just today. It will not be fired until this weekend where my children and I will shoot it together as is our family custom. The rifle is a real beauty, just as I would expect from a company such as yours, and will now be my turkey rifle. I know that its accuracy will be of unmatched quality. The rifle will be the perfect mate to my hunting rifle which is a 44-40 Golden Boy replica. The two of them together are a real sight.
Report from the weekend:
Today is memorial day and we have returned from our trip. The Golden Boy .22 magnum performed beautifully as expected on Saturday when we went to shoot it in. The right and left rear sight adjustment is a tough one, which is good since I wont have to worry about it moving. That shot groups were remarkably tight (not that it wasn't expected).
From one who's family really enjoyes the shooting sports, thanks for making such a fine firearm as this beauty. I will be using it both hunting and just for lots of fun target shooting at the range. It is a real joy to shoot.
Thanks again and keep up the good work

Hey just a note My 8 yr old son past his Hunter safety course here in Utah and passed with flying colors. He did an excellent job on the shooting part and with the Henry Youth lever rifle. He is one if not the youngest to ever pass. They are researching it now and he may get the title as the youngest ever. Again thanks and we continue to grow our list of Henry rifles the latest is another full size lever action. Just a fun gun no special purpose just fun.
Thanks for the fine products and the great accuracy at a great price!

I am a Hunter Education instructor here in Utah. At a recent course firing qualification there was a young man and his mother taking the course from the state of Utah, with my wife and I and the instructors. To qualify, students have to score 15 points out of a possible 30 into two different paper targets. Ten shots each from prone, sitting or kneeling, and standing. The Mom shot first and she was using this cute little lever action .22 that I hadn't seen before. The son shot next and wasn't very accurate. I checked his score and asked the Mom if I could shoot five rounds through it. I shot the 5 from the standing position and retrieved the target. I was amazed at the group I shot.
So, in a word I would like to express my feelings on you lever action .22 rifle. WOW!!
I told the Mom that it wasn't the firearm that was errant. To make the story shorter, the son calmed down and re-shot and passed.
I purchased one Saturday for myself and will soon be trying it out. I have my eye on the two Golden Boy rifles also. Good job.
With all the negative news about firearms, it is so neat to have a quality product made in the City of New York.
We'd welcome you here in Utah if you need to move for what-ever reason.
Looking forward to shooting my new firearm. Thanks again!!
I would like to thank you the Henry Repeating Arms Company for manufacturing such a high quality .22. I just recently purchased a .22 Lever action and I have never had so much fun shooting a gun. This is my first lever action I had two semi autos, both very good guns, but they we not near as nice and fun as my Henry.
I just purchased your Henry Golden Boy .22 Magnum and what a beautiful gun it is The fit and finish is superb this is my first Henry but you can bet it will not be my Last.
Thanks for making a great Rifle.

Hey, you guys are GREAT! Had a Marlin 39A many years ago and sold it due in a financial crunch. The Henry is hands above the Marlin. Just having so much fun with it. Solid! Many thanks for your assist!
All the best,
To the folks at Henry Rifles,
A year ago I purchased a .22 cal Lever action Henry rifle, it was used and already a year old. With the intent of shooting it in the Cowboy Lever action small bore class, I took it to the first match and was pleasantly surprised at the results of shooting this fine rifle. I found the action to be silky smooth, and being an Old Marine, liked the way it breaks down for cleaning. After the summer Match season, I mount a 2 1/2 power scope on it and use it for hunting squirrels. I like the light weight, good looks and excellent
accuracy of this fine rifle. Recently I told my wife that the hunt for a good .22 rifle was over, the Henry will do it all.
I have two of your rifles A golden boy and a lever and I can't understand how you can build a custom quality rifle for the price tags on them! they both function with glass smoothness they are extremely accurate and wood to metal is perfect.... thank you for building these extreme quality rifles at prices even my budget can afford...
My husband and I bought the survival rifle a few weeks ago, and needless to say I am thrilled with the purchase. It was a great shooting rifle right out of the box. Every time I bring it to the range, everyone wants to see it. Some days I break it down and show how it stores inside of itself and put it back together more than I actually shoot it, but I love it, it is a really cool conversation piece. I got it just 2 days after we had a .22 cal iron sight rifle shoot at our club, so I cant wait till the next one so I can participate. Thanks for a great product.

About A month ago I put my Henry lever action .22 in layaway at my local Henry dealer. Today I brought it home with me, and today I have a new favorite .22 rifle. I love to shoot .22 shorts and the rifle handles them great. It chambers them and ejects them better than I was expecting, and the action is smooth and exact. For anyone who has a fondness for the lever action I would recommend the Henry .22 for a rimfire rifle, based on the fact I also have your competitors .22 lever action.
Dear owner of henry repeating arms:
I would like to thank you for keeping after an awsome firearms company. I don't officially own one because I'm only 13 years old, but my dad purchased one of you lever action 22lr. firearms about two years ago. Ever since then i have been very impressed with it. It is exteremely accurate, my dad can hit a little 2 inch by 2inch metal target at 50 yrds without a scope. Once again thanks for produceing such a fine product and my best of luck goes to you and your company.
Dear Sir or Madam:
I just wanted to relate my satisfaction with your company, Henry Repeating Arms. I purchased a survival rifle a few years ago and have amazed people at the range with its uniqueness, but more importantly its accuracy. I contacted your company about a problem I was having with a problem with the screw that connects the stock and the receiver. Without question, the gun was shipped for free, and a new survival rifle soon came back as a replacement. Included was a target with which the gun was test fired. This is marvelous customer service! I will sureley recommend your product to other people. Keep up the good work.
I recently purchased a .22LR Lever Action Henry rifle at Wal Mart. I installed a Tasco 4x32 scope, just to see how it would really shoot. After a break in period of about 25 shots, I thoroughly cleaned the little rifle, fired a couple of fouling shots, then, fired three rounds, bench rest (sandbags) at 50 yards...the three shots produced a group of 7/16". This was using Remington cheapie .22LR HP bulk ammo that I also purchased at Wal Mart. I've since removed the scope, shoot with the iron sights. Y'all have built a truly remarkable little rifle.
