Henry Customer Letters
I have been a fan of the .22 rifle for almost 40 years. This little rifle undoubtedly has the smoothest action of not only any lever action that I own, but any that I have had the privilege to shoot. Again thank you for creating a rifle that any red blooded American would be proud to own"

That's the kind of service that keeps people coming back. I have told several friends about your great guns & the fine service that I have gotten from you, with your quick e-mails & the phone calls. And as I told you on the phone, I will soon be ordering a Golden Boy, because of your good service."
I've never had a rifle that the action was so smooth right out of the box. That rifle is a tack driver. I like it so much that today I finally was able to purchase a GB in 22WMR. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet. But I think the action is actually smoother that of my GB 22LR, if that's possible."
"You folks make the finest 22 rifle that I've ever owned or seen. I worked (until recently) in a gun shop for ten years and I've seen, handled and shot most of the 22 rifles on the market today and a few that are no longer in production. But you folks are missing the boat in the lever action rifle market."
"Let me explain. I've been involved in Cowboy Action Shooting for the past seven years. I travel all over the country for matches. CAS is the fastest growing shooting sport in the world. The Single Action Shooting Society (aka SASS) the mother club of CAS, has over 50,000 members and growing. They estimate that only about half of those participating in CAS on a regular basis are SASS members. 22 caliber pistols & rifles are allowed in side matches but not in the main stages of the matches. Those rifles must be in pistol caliber 32 & up."
"If you would start producing the Golden Boy in 45 Colt, 357 or 38 spl, 44/40, 44 spl, 32/20 you would sell a ton of them. You wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand. The GB is beautiful, and the actions are as smooth as oil on glass. That is what cowboy shooters are looking for. If you ever make it in 45 Colt, there'll be one added to my collection pronto."

I have never seen such a look on a boys face when I gave it him. That look was worth a million dollars. He got tears in his eyes and a smile as wide a sunset over the ocean. Thank you guys for making a great and good lookin rifle as the golden boy is. His first words were it's just like the rifle the cowboys used. Thanks again."
I could not believe the beauty of the weapon along with the very affordable price. I asked him the following day how it operated. He said, "It's a sweet little thing". That's all I needed to know. I went out and got myself one today. I have owned several rifles. Never have I taken a gun out of the box, load it up and plink the center of the bull's-eye at 25 yards without adjusting the sights or anything. Unbelievable! Thank you for a wonderful weapon that is sure to bring me years of enjoyment. I'll take a Henry over anything at any price!"
Last week my son and I got a chance to go to the range and 'give'r a spin'. I have never been nor will I ever be a great shot. I'm not a "natural" but I was very pleased with the accuracy of this rifle. The 'fluidity factor' ( if that is not a word, it oughtta be) was amazing. The action is unbelievably smooth. Five or six years ago I looked into buying a lever action .22 and after seeing the prices I changed my mind. When I saw the price on the Henry I went to your web page and got a catalog and read letters from customers.... I did my homework. When I got my Henry I was so pleased. I thank you for making a quality .22 rifle for an outstanding price. Keep up the great work."
I must say....this is the most accurate rifle out of the box I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. As soon as I saw it in the rack I just had to have it. My father has a Marlin .22 lever action (model 39) and I thought it was the cream of the crop. I was, however, mistaken. The Henry beats it hands-down in smoothness of action, accuracy and it's just plain fun shooting. I would pit my Henry against his Marlin any day and I'm betting on the Henry! My wife is also impressed and has fallen in love with it. She thoroughly enjoys it and can't wait until we go shootin' next time! By the way, this is my first experience with your rifle and I will highly recommend it to everyone! Get a Henry...you won't be sorry!"
The quality, design, and price are all excellent with the added bonus of being made in the USA - Great Job"

The action is like a gun that was custom made."
To solve this problem I decided to purchase a rim fire rifle and based on advertising material I chose a Henry Model 001. To be honest I was expecting a cheap rifle."
"What I received was quite a surprise. The Henry had a real walnut stock that was as smooth as glass and finished in an unblemished satin finish. The mating of wood to metal was perfect. The balance was excellent, and the action was smooth and easy to operate. Most of all the accuracy is incredible. The Henry was not a cheap rifle but rather a quality product."
"As a courtesy to me would you please express my compliments to your craftsmen for a beautifully designed and manufactured rifle."

A brand new Henrys Golden Boy 22 lever action. Boy, what a surprise! Felt like "Ralphie" of Christmas Story, only I'm 65 years old! I can't believe the quality and price for such a rifle!
Keep up the excellent work!"
A masterful blend of nostalgia, workmanship and value!!
"From it's gleaming brass receiver set between rich dark walnut stock, to it's hefty octagonal barrel, it truly is a pleasure to own, carry and just gaze upon. It has provided me with a direct link to all the great Americans and traditions of the past, that I greatly admire."
"Congratulations to you and your workers. Make me another one in .22Mag. God bless America and our Second Amendments Rights."

I do believe it is the smartest thing I've ever done. He loves it. I am impressed with the quality of the machine work, smooth action and beautiful Walnut stock. I look forward to buying another Henry... perhaps this time for me."
"What an amazing firearm. It's no surprise that it was selected 2001 Rifle of the Year. Today was my son's first range visit with Dad, and he spent 2 hours firing round after round. He loves the Golden Boy. I'm impressed with the quality and accuracy. The wood in the stock and forearm are beautiful, the machining is top quality, and the accuracy is very impressive. I was able to shoot respectable clusters at 50 yards with no problem."
"Thank you for producing such a wonderful, yet reasonably priced rifle."

Not having my checkbook with me at the time I was unable to purchase it and decided that when I was back in town I would pick it up. Unfortunately a month went by before I made the 60-mile trip back to town and when I did the gun was sold. Needless to say I whined and pouted for months and made my wife miserable. Last week she presented me with my Golden Boy and I have been walking on air ever since."
"It is the most beautiful rifle in my collection (and I have a few Weatherby 300 Mag. on down, 27 in all), right out of the box the sights were dead on at 75 yards and the gophers didn't have a chance that day. This rifle has the feel and heft of a big bore with the smoothness of a gun five times the price. It will be in my saddle scabbard wherever I go or hanging in the rack of my Jimmy. I am seriously buying another just to put away for future use, in case the first wears out. My poor old Winchester 9422 will now be retired, as it cannot compare to the Golden Boy, and never could even when it was new.."
"Congratulations on making one of the finest weapons, a man or woman could ever own, and thank you so very much."
"Now all you need to do is a big bore in the same style."
This is the smoothest action of any .22 I've ever shot. The gun is very accurate and shoots like a dream. I wish I had discovered this gun years ago. Not only is the accuracy and action great, but it is a beautiful firearm. I showed the gun to a friend of mine and he purchased one the next day. He wrote you a letter last week. You folks are doing a great job; keep up the good work."
