Henry Customer Letters
I want to say "thank you" for making such a find product as the Henry rifle. I'm a big ..22 shooter, and had been on the market for a lever-action .22. After doing a little research (mostly just reading your website and they many complimentary letters) I decided the Henry was the rifle for me. I bought it yesterday morning, and I can truly say I've never had a finer rifle straight out of the box! The stock is beautiful, the bluing is deep and rich, and I've never felt a smoother action. To say I am pleased with it is an understatement!
Last night I watched your RFDtv interview on the website and that just made me even prouder of my Henry. I try to buy American whenever possible, and it's great to have a truly all-American product.
There will definitely be another Henry rifle in my future (probably the .17HMR as I'm a big fan of that caliber). I don't know when it will be, but rest assured there will be another Henry in my hands as soon as I can make it happen! Until then, I want to get me a hat so I can give you a little free advertising on my big head (here in Florida I'm one of those people that if I'm out of the house and not at work or church I'm wearing a hat)! Look forward to an order from me very soon.
Many thanks and may God bless you!
I bought a HENRY 22 lever action and it is a better gun than my Ruger 10/22. You make a great gun!
Hello, I just want to say that i really love my henry .44 big boy. I have had many comments about how fine the wood stock looks and the craftmanship that is put into making a henry. It is very accurate as well, At a 100 yards i can group shots in 3 ins. Lastly, the price i payed was very reasonable for the amount of gun and quality i received.
GREAT JOB guys and Kind Regards.

Travis Holman of Knoxville, Tennessee with his new Henry Minibolt. Even a very cold and rainy day at the farm couldn't diminish his enthusiasm !

I had recently been looking for a .22 rifle to replace my old one but I wanted a more traditional style rifle than I've had in the past. I looked at bolt action rifles and semi auto rifles but I could not find one that spoke to me. Then, as luck would have it, a Henry Repeating Arms catalog came in the mail. While flipping through the catalog, I came across the lever action Frontier model .22 and I knew I had found the rifle I 'd been looking for. I had never owned a lever action rifle before and I was concerned whether I would like the action, but I decided to give it a try (childhood thoughts of the old west helped a bit). I ordered the Henry Frontier Model .22 rifle from Mid-State Gun Co. in Coventry, RI. When it arrived and I saw it for the first time, I knew I made the right decision. I was attracted to the rifle because of its octagon barrel, handsome walnut stock and its old west style. The rifle looked better than I could imagine and I was amazed at how smooth the action functioned. I could not wait to get it to the range and put some rounds through it. Range day came and it performed flawlessly!
I am so impressed with my Henry lever action that I just went back to the gun store and ordered a Henry Big Boy in .45 colt. Thank you for making a superb, all American rifle at an affordable price. Benjamin Tyler Henry would be proud!
Just wanted to send a quick note to tell you I love my Henry Golden Boy. It's a perfect blend of quality and beauty combined. I am proud to own it and I just wanted to say that your efforts to make Henry a superlative gun are appreciated by all. Keep up the fine work.
I bought a Henry 22 cal. lever action rifle a couple of years ago and have shot against a browning lever action 22 cal rifle and the henry performed and outshot the browning ten to one. There was no comparison. Pease keep up the quality and craftsmanship of your guns because they are absolutly the best.

I currently own the 22 Magnum Lever Action, and absolutely love this gun. It is so much fun to shoot, and is very accurate. I have owned it for over 4 years. I will own this gun until I die. It will be handed down through the family then. I just hope it brings them as much joy as it has me. I am currently planning on buying the Big Boy 44 Mag. just as soon as I can convince my wife that I need it, and can't live without it. You make the greatest lever guns on the market. Thanks for making such a fine product.
Dear Henry Rifle
I purchased a Henry H001 last week, this is my first lever rifle. What a smooth action and is accurate also.
I would recommend one of these to anyone who is interested in a lever rifle. I have been shooting for almost 40 years and have been shooting NRA high power and CMP Garand and Vintage matches for the last 5 years, so I know a good rifle when I shoot one.
I am very impressed.
Keep up the good work.
I'm going to make this short.
I bought a 22 Henry Rifle love it so much I bought the 22 magnum Golden Boy, Then you had to make a 3030 So I ordered that one today.
If I bought the Henry first it would be the only rifles I would own.
It seems we don't make very many products in the USA anymore, but when we do they are still the best, the action of the lever action is the smoothest I have ever seen.
My name is Chuck Pensyl and I recently ordered a .22 LR Golden Boy. I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic wood on that rifle! I am a gunsmith, went to the Colorado School of Trades way back in 1976 and have a deep appreciation for gunstock wood, having worked with some fine pieces of French over the years, and for a factory rifle to have such a great piece of crotch feather Walnut on it, well, I just couldn't believe it! Attached is a photo of Cameron after he took the gun out of the box Christmas morning. He'd been asking for this rifle for some time, we had him believing he was getting a new camera. He was very surprised to say the least. Anyway, thank You again for such a beautiful rifle and wood. He's been shooting it every weekend, he loves it. Good hunting and God Bless America!
I just wanted to send you a note of thanks. I just got off the phone with one of your representatives. I had called to request a new front sight for my sons rifle. He had dropped the gun and broken the fiber optic part as well as the part that holds it. When I asked how much the sight assembly was, he said that it would be no charge and would send one right out to me. I was quite surprised. Most companies don't stand behind their products that well.
My son and I both love the gun. I shoot it almost as much as he does. He has been squirrel hunting with me several times with it and has managed to bag a total of 8 squirrels this hunting season.
I will definitely keep Henry Repeating Arms Company on the top of my list when I buy additional firearms, or when I know of a friend of mine who is looking for a great first rifle for his child. Keep up the good work!!!!
Greetings! After two months of saving up for a Henry product, I finally bought one. Not only for myself, but mainly for my eight year old son, Lorenzo.
I bought a Henry H005 today from Russell Sports Calgary. We went to the store yesterday, and he tried the H005. I compared it with a competitor's single shot, but my son's mind was already made up on the Henry. I gave him a 2008 Henry Catalog that I requested sometime last year, and I always catch him going through the catalog whenever he is in his room.
I let him read the manual twice today, before allowing him to touch the rifle. I was surprised that he answered all the questions I asked him with regards to the manual. That shows how user friendly your manual is. I will let him read the manual over and over, and at the same time show him how the rifle functions, putting emphasis on the safety aspect, before I bring him to the range.
Several factors were considered when we decided to buy the rifle. First, was the simplicity of the design. I like the fact that you have to activate the cocking knob to fully arm the rifle even if you have already chambered a round. Secondly, my son is very comfortable with the rifle, and it has very nice sights. Last, but not least, is that a single shot rifle will teach young shooters to focus on accuracy.
I am confident that this would not be the last Henry product that we will purchase. I am now considering an Acu-Bolt for myself. Attached are photographs that we took when we unpacked the rifle at home.
My kindest regards,
Rex C. Hinlo
This is me shooting my frontier model octagon rifle. I love it. It works really well.
Anthony I want to say thanks for making such a nice gun for my children. Keep up the good work at Henry. I recommend your rifles to all my friends when they ask what is a good 22 rifle for kids. Go Henry!
To The Entire Henry Production Team,
It took me two months to find my Golden Boy here in the Dallas - Ft. Worth metro, as the demand was simply too high during the holidays. They were hard to find for a while. But, I finally got my Henry Golden Boy last weekend and I just came back from my local range.
After taking my family out for a Valentine's Day lunch, my boss and I had arranged to meet at our local range this afternoon to christen my new rifle.
We had heard of the legendary smoothness of the original Henry rifles. But, he and I were amazed at the feel, the balance and the precise action of this modern rifle. Our patterns were very tight and consistent at 50 yards. Upon stepping out of the range and into the foyer, a few people stopped me wanting to know what that "beautiful golden rifle" was they had seen us shooting while on the firing line. Of course, I was proud to show them.
I have wanted a real, honest-to-goodness link to our western history all my life, at a price I could afford. Your new rifles continue to build upon his original designs yet remain true to the styling of his western classic. The heritage can still be seen and felt in today's Henry rifle. My Golden Boy is a delicate balance; a blend of a very unique heritage and the new modern rifle blended into an all new Henry. You are making a wonderful product I am very proud to own.
There is one extra thing included with my Golden Boy that I did not expect...exceptional "value". You see, my Golden Boy has already delivered on every possible measurement of quality, artistry, and pricing. But, you also threw in a lot of fun along with more than a dash of history at no additional charge!
My next goal...a Henry Big Boy .367 Magnum.
Hello Anthony and Louis,
On Thursday, January 22nd, 2009, I picked up my new Big Boy .44 Magnum from Blue Northern Trading in Ayer, MA. Having never fired a Henry rifle before, my son and I grabbed a couple of boxes of ammo and headed for the range. Shooting the Big Boy was one of the greatest pleasures my son and I have had with firearms. The smile on his face when he fired his first round was priceless. Thank you for such a wonderful rifle and thank you for producing them in America. You have two life long fans in me and my son, and we will be purchasing additional rifles from you.
Very truly yours,
John W. O'Donoghue, Jr.
I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU, FIRST FOR USING AMERICAN VENDORS AND BEING AN AMERICAN COMPANY YOURSELF, AND SECOND FOR MAKING THE BEST RIFLE EVER MADE BY ANYBODY ANY WHERE.
A Henry Fan
