Henry Customer Letters
Mr. Imperato, thank so much for the personal e-mail to make sure that I had gotten a catalog. I am quite impressed. I have wanted a Henry rifle since I was a boy. I am now 46 and finally saved enough to go and purchase one. I must say that it is all you folks claim it to be and more. This rifle is of the utmost quality and defiantly heirloom quality. It may take a few more years of saving, but I am going to purchase the display case for it in the future.
I have a friend who never got into the shooting sports and he has a son (15) who is really interested. I have spent many hours with the boy teaching him gun safety and the proper handling of firearms. We started with a Daisy bb gun and would spend weekend afternoons target shooting. I was amazed at his ability and concern for safety. We recently started shooting .22?s for target practice. I wish you could have seen the look on his face when I handed him the new Golden boy to shoot!! Priceless! (I only get to try it out when he is not here!) this rifle has made the effort well worth it. He cleans it after every practice target shoot and I have never seen such a clean and shiny rifle!
Just this weekend I viewed your new infomercial, and I want to thank you for being an honest and caring person!! There are so few of us left. Sad.
Sir, I want to thank you personally for giving the two of us a priceless experience and a perfect rifle to share some awesome and good times together with. I cannot say in words how much this means to us. The local economy is bad with factories shutting down and unemployment at an all time high?we have an out when we go out in my woods and kill some targets! (paper ones that I set up) we are going to get into hunting this fall.
Again, Thank you Mr. Imperato!!
I just had to send you a quick note to say thank you for the quality .22 rifle that my husband purchased this past December. He has arthritis in his shoulders so the lever action has been a great improvement for him. He is tickled to pieces with his .22. I have never seen him so taken with anything as he is with his new rifle. Sometimes I wonder if he is going to take the .22 to bed instead of me! Rod just loves the shape, the feel, the octagon barrel, the way the rifle handles and the accuracy! He is thrilled with it. The best part is that the rifle is American made. Thank you for the enjoyment that he is having. I told him, "You are 80 years old, if you want it, get it." I'm glad he did. We live in northern Vermont so we still have several feet of snow on the ground so the target is close to the house so Rod doesn't have to wade through the snow to get to it. He can't wait for spring so he can see how well the Henry really fires!
Thanks again for the quality and the enjoyment.
I have just purchased a Henry Big Boy in 45 long colt I thought "Yeah Right" when the dealer told me it was in and it was too beautiful to shoot when I pulled it out of the box I realized he might be correct With all the hype in the shooting horse , cowboy action, and Guns of the Old West magazines I read about all the "Famous " Italian and other replica gun makers out there I figured why not go to an original company instead of buying a copy I didnt really think this gun was going to be this good looking I knew I wanted Made In USA quality thanks for surpassing everyone I have shown this gun to's expectations It truely is ALMOST to beautiful to shoot (hey that is what I bought it for)
Well, I've been shooting for years, I just purchased a golden boy, I took it out of the box and put 50 rounds through it at 50 yards. I hit the target every time without adjusting the sights. the 5th to the last shot I made I tried to cut the string holding a 4 inch target. I don't believe it but I cut the string with open sights. great gun. I can't wait to purchase the new 30/30 with octagon barrel for white tail season.
Keep up the good work
There are no words to express the feeling of satisfaction and pride that I felt when I received your email in response to my inquiry about restoring the finish on my H001 rifle. It is pure pleasure for me to know that a company such as yours still exists in America today and you can rest assured that my friends and family will know about too! You can also be sure that when I am ready to purchase another rifle my Henry dealer will be the first stop.
The replacement part has been received and installed and my little .22 looks like new.
I have purchased both the Henry Big Boy H006C .45 colt and the Henry Golden Boy .22 Magnum H004M within the past month. They are the best rifles I have ever owned and used. The quality is second to none. Even better that they are made in the USA. I will covet them and be proud to hand them down to my son.

I have owned a golden boy over a year. I can honestly say, I am 62 years old anr have never owned such a fine rifle!
I had to have one of your quality firearms. I am pleased and proud to say that I purchased the 22cal. Lever Action-Model H001. This fine firearm is a first class rifle, the quality of workmanship ,smooth action and superb accuracy are 2nd to none. I would like to thank You and all of your committed and dedicated employee's for turning out such rare made in AMERICA quality firearms. There is no doubt that Henry firearms are produced with the quality and care that will reward a purchaser with a lifetime of enjoyment. I am confident that a Henry firearm is of the QUALITY to be enjoyed not only by the purchaser but also his or her grand children. Thank you for a wonderful quality AMERICAN made product. I wish you and Henry Repeating Arms Company many continued years of success. Have a safe and Happy New Year.
Dear Sirs, Recently I purchased an H001 Henry rifle. I took it to the range a couple times, and then took my wife with me after I had drifted the rear sight some to get the windage right. To make a long story short, she's 54 years old and has very little gun experience. After learning the basics of safety and aiming, she is hooked. Worse for me, she's hooked on the Henry! Now, I have to buy another, as soon as I can get her back to work, as she is laid off at the moment. All it took was hitting that eight inch circle at twenty five yards, then she hit it a few times at fifty. That really did it. Now, she's confiscated it for her own. I think the little H001L suits me great, and I love the carbine length too. Thanks again, Henry, you made a believer out of me and a shooter out of my wife. You guys have a great product and I enjoy it a lot.

Bought a Henry Lever Action .22 cal for my 12 years son for Christmas, This is an acceptional firearm for him . He has become an avid outdoors guy and has been very successful in local trap shooting and other hunting and shooting activities. What a great way to bond with my son and develope a respect for firearms. This choice of gun was definetly a good one , thank you for your time and watch for up and coming world ranked target shooter. ( My boy's dream) Ray Brown.
I just registered my 3rd Henry rifle, so far. Thank you so much for building such a fine "Made in America" firearm. I hope too add more to the "Henry collection" soon. Regards,
Anthony, I am beyond impressed with the quality and 100% American made parts of the Henry rifle. Shooting is a passion with me and having a rifle of this quality and asethetics makes it that much sweeter. The Henry Big Boy .44 magnum is beyond beautiful and after looking at Marlin and Winchester lever action rifles there is no comparison of smoothness of action and down right shootability. The octagonal barrel makes this rifle look antique but also acts as a bull barrel to help tame the wicked .44 magnums I choose to shoot. I despise a hooded front sight and the open front sight of the Big Boy allows me to see more of the field down range.
Have a safe and happy holiday season. Your company makes my chest swell with pride when I think that Americans can still make the best products in the world.
This is bar none the best lever action .22 for the price!
My oldest son just received a .22 cal Henry Lever Action Rifle for Christmas from his grandfather. Having grown up with a Ruger 10/22 all my life, I was surprised at the weight and balance of the Henry Lever Action. My father-in-law stated that he had a Henry .22 Magnum Rifle and wanted to get one for his grandson. We spent the last few days shooting, and I just wanted to say that this little gun has the smoothest action of any rifle I have ever shot. We tore through about 300 rounds over the past couple of days and the Henry kept coming back for more. And I get to teach my son the responsibility of cleaning the gun after each use (with a Hoppe's 9 Kit). I am interested at looking at the other calibers and hope to make a purchase on a new Henry Rifle this coming 2009 year.

I bought my first henry rifle the other day and went out and shot it this last weekend. I am 40 years old and have been shooting since I was 6 years old. I love my new henry .17 hmr this is the smoothest action on a rifle I have ever shot ! Anyway I just wanted you and everyone to know I love it ! If you are thinking about buying a .17 hmr get the HENRY , I promise you when you go shoot with your buddies, ALL of them will want to shoot it. Right out of the box it is accurat !
We talked about the 22LR I purchased for my son but I had to share this with you. Please see photo's attached.
My son wanted a scope on this rifle so I purchased a 3-9x32 scope and immediately attached without shooting. He shot very well with it at the range. Easily dialed it in and he was, as expected, hitting bulls at 75ft no problem. Well you and I talked about swapping out the stocks for a fancy so I took the scope off to prepare for shipping. I decided to take it to the range without the scope just to see what it could do. The pics attached will attest to the out of box quality. I never touched the stock sights before shooting. 9 of the 10 shots are in the 9 and 10 rings at 75ft with a standard NRA 50ft pistol target. Well where did the 10th go you may ask? The second pic shows the last shot as I really could not see how I was doing with the first 9 shots at 75ft. I took a shot at the logo at the far bottom right corner. This was all off hand with my elbow on the bench. You make a fantastic product!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!
Dear Henry Rifle,

Dear Mr. Imperato, Ever since I was old enough to read I knew about Henry rifles and their role in our civil war. Yes, it was even nice to see them for sale at the local Wal-Mart. Being a blackpowder shooter, however, I never really paid any attention to the modern Henrys. All that changed after we installed our digital t.v. convertor box and I saw your ads on the RTN network. They succeeded in their goal. Yesterday, I purchased a new H001 lever action .22. Of course, it is everything I expected from an American made firearm. The wood to metal fit, the blueing, the machining, and the astonishing stock finish, everything excellent. What sold me, more than all of that, was the passion you showed me for your product in those ads. The faces of the workers looked like people I know. In fact, one of them could of been mine if I was born in Brooklyn instead of Chicago. From those ads I know I can trust you and your workers to not only produce an excellent rifle, but also to stand behind it fully. Thanks again and may I wish you the best of luck and success in the future.
I watched with great interest yesterday as Directv aired the hour-long special on your company. I can't tell you how proud I am to own a Golden Boy, especially after watching!
The only Christmas gift I really wanted this year was the Henry. I felt like the kid in "A Christmas Story", dropping hints and trying to lead my wife with her gift ideas. I'm a 46-year old native of Southwestern Virginia, and my dad and I always shared our love for shooting. We lost him eight years ago in January, and I've been a gun collector of sorts ever since.
I got my Golden Boy, and couldn't be happier with it. The quality and beauty are evident right out of the box, and the fact that it's 100% American is one of the most important reasons I chose the Henry as my gun of choice.
May God continue blessing you and your family, and the Henry Repeating Arms Company! If you're ever travelling through Virginia, we're right off Interstate 81, near the Tennessee line. I'd love to show you around our town! Keep up the good work, my friend!
Splitting a card 25 feet with my new Henry Lever
I sent you an e-mail about me (Joe's Fancy Guns) and that I had seen (Extreme Marksmen) on the History Channel a week or so ago, and it looked like they were using your Henry lever action 22 with the large loop, so I ordered in one from Jerry's Sport Center my wholesaler that I use a lot, and then we got over a foot of snow on the 28th of January, so soon as I had the lanes opened up I took the little Henry back toward the barn and stuck the little white card in a snowbank and fired off at 25 feet two shots and both hit as you can see from the pictures. Not bad considering I had never fired the gun before. So the little new Henry is really a keeper!!!!
