Henry Customer Letters
Thanks again for all you do for Arkansas Youth Hunter Education Challenge.
Thanks for a beautiful and accurate rifle.
Dear Mr. Anthony Imperato: I had wanted to try the new .17 HMR round ever since it came to market. I've been a gun collector for over 25 years and a shooter for over 35 years (I started around age 5). I've always been partial to lever action rifles and I've admired the guns your company has made since you first came out with the GoldenBoy. I bought a .17 HMR GoldenBoy last week and I fired it for the first time today.
I am very impressed! The fit and finish of the gun is top notch. The action is super smooth and the trigger pull is excellent. I shot 50 rounds today at 50 yards from a rest. The GoldenBoy hit right in the middle. I congratulate you on a very fine product. I am proud to own one of your Made In The USA lever actions! The brass receiver really stands out among the other guns in my gunsafe!
(I've also attached a picture I took of my handsome new rifle!)
vI am seriously considering purchasing a Henry .44 Mag Big Boy. I am a novice hunter and with deer season coming up, I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to the type of .44 Mag ammo I should use--240 grain JHP, 270 grain jacketed flat point, etc?
I currently own a Henry Golden Boy .17 HMR and I love it. I took it varmint hunting this past summer and I hit a prairie dog at 200 yds dead center.

Les welcomes a friend from Chile.
My son had the chance to shoot your Golden Boy Magnum at one of our Yough High School Outdoors Club target shoots at the shooting range. One of the instructors had his and left the students try it out. My son feel in Love with it and we went this weekend and purchased him one. The other students were really impressed with it also.

Hello, We just like to thank you for making such a great gun in a small package. Our son saved up all his newspaper delivery money to buy a small gun so that he could go hunting with Daddy. He has to bring it along every trip and it's so great that it's small enough that he can shoot by himself. Here's a picture of him with his first grouse, he was so proud all camo'd up with his own gun! Thanks again,

Mr. Imperato, I wanted to drop you a line to let you know the trip to Bostick Plantation was a success on many levels. At least 25 hunters & 4 guides shot the Henry Big Boy 44 and everyone was impressed with the smooth action, good looks and the accuracy of the Henry. As you know the catalogs arrived after my departure but I had my neighbor watch and they arrived and he overnight-ed them to me via Fed Ex the gun butt-stock did not arrive though. I handed out catalogs out all week and wrote my number in them so if they had any questions that i might help them with. A number of people asked if I had the engraved 44 Henry to look at but i just had the 22 golden boy and the 44 Henry, but i told them they are limited and to talk to their area gun dealer to get a quote and to make sure they talk to the owner or manager. I also showed them in the catalog where they could get one with the personalized receiver. I told them the truth and said i would never use another type of gun hunting, most hunters had big scopes and tripod stand sticks on their guns. I told them there was something special about shooting a historical style weapon with only iron sites and to this day i have never needed a scope. Free hand shooting is very easy and the gun is very steady due to the weight of the barrel, I can hold a bead at 100 yards without the barrel swimming, I think that was the most impressive selling point when i proved it to them. I also told them they can get a scope mount from you if they wanted one as shown in the pictures. We went through 4 boxes of 44 mags and some of my stash, i think that you will see a increase in sales very soon. I would say every person that shot the 22 golden boy made a comment on how smooth the action was, I told them I would be starting my daughter off on the golden boy when she gets old enough but that Henry also offers some great youth rifles as well. Well as for the hunting it was tough with 100 degree weather but i was determined to get a wild boar this time. I answered every ones question as to the knockdown power of the Henry as I was the only hunter to shoot a boar that did not run after being shot, 2 shot by hunters and 3 others either ran for more then 100 yards or had to be tracked by dogs and take a finish shot. I always take pride that when i take an animal it is a quick clean ethical shot. I got video of the hunt with the Henry cam though it is not the greatest due to the camera quality and my position at the time of the shot. I will send it off to be edited and I will of course send it to you. In the meantime I will send you pictures, as you can see the the shot was clean through the neck ( I prefer that spot for my shot, they never no they have been hit, its instant). Thanks again for your support. I will be soon moving to the number one Whitetail hunting county in the state of Kansas, I will trying to get great footage of me using the Henry to take down a record book whitetail. Sincerely, your Henry Rep

The hunt that I missed out on, this is my friend's son. He got the biggest one, about 175 lbs. Everyone bagged one first day out.
Katie finally got to shoot her Henry Golden Boy .22 LR! That first shot turned into over 300 by the time the weekend in Tionesta, PA was over. She hit the target every time. I will never forget the look on her face after. She had a great time! Two weeks later she went through 150 rounds. After we arrived home, she learned the proper way to clean her rifle. Owning a rifle requires more than just learning the proper and safe way to shoot. Young and old alike must take excellent care of their firearms if they want to enjoy them for years to come. It's never too early to start! Thank you for the quality craftsmanship you put into your product. Happy shooting!

My 11 year old daughter, Katelyn, recently completed her Utah Hunter Safety class. Hats off to Henry for keeping her in the 10 ring. Her score topped many of the boys in her class which I attribute the Henry Company for making the best dang 22 made. Thanks for making a little girl smile at beating the boys.

Last Dec. 1, I sent a message to you with the serial number on a used Henry Big Boy I had just purchased. You were nice enough to respond to me with the manufacturing date of this rifle.
Deer gun season just opened in North Dakota on Nov. 9th. On Nov. 10th I took a nice Whitetail Buck in the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota which is right next to the Canadian border. I thought you would like to see the buck I took with the Henry Big Boy in 44 Magnum. He was running at about 50 yards through the brush and the Big Boy dropped him in his tracks. It really did its job and the rifle looks good doing it!
Dear Henry repeating arms I have several different kinds of rifles that I go hunting with but last year I took my Henry 45 long colt rifle and I quickly found out that it is the perfect (brush gun). The 45 reloads fast, is the perfect size, deadly accurate, and will stop any thing dead in its tracks. Thank you Henry repeating arms for the manufacture of such a quality rifle. Here is a picture of what the Henry 45 is capable of.
Hi Anthony, I had a great Thanksgiving, I shot an 8-point for my first deer with my new Henry rifle, the day after Thanksgiving. My son was with me and was as happy as i was. I attached a picture if you would like to see it. Thanks so much!
I just wanted to write and tell you about how much we love our youth lever action H001Y. I purchased one for my son Eirik and we liked it so much that I purchased another one and donated it to our local Central Indiana Ruffed Grouse Society as a door prize for the youth. Quite a few of the adults were wishing they had a chance at it but it was only for the youth. It was won by a lucky young lady named Leah, age 14. This gun was such a hit we may do this every year. I think it is safe to say that the model H001Y is the best youth gun available and perfect for getting kids started in the shooting sports.
Hello there, We have not had a problem with your rifle at all,and we shoot every weekend.
I sent along a photo of my son with his H001Y and the other Henry products he was hoping to get for his 10th. birthday. Thank You again for quality products made in the USA. Sincerely,
William C. Moon, Jr.
Dear Sirs, Enclosed is a typical 5 shot group that was shot with my Henry Accu-Bolt 22 wmr, it measures .325 inches. The group was shot at 50 yards with a weaver v-2x7 scope, cci maxi-mag 40 gr. hp ammunition. The scope was set on 4 power. I have shot hand loads at bench rest for years and this is the most accurate 22 wmr that I have had the pleasure to own. This accuracy is repeatable time after time. I am 72 years young and enjoy shooting a fine fire arm such as yours. Good shooting,
I just received my first Henry repeating rifle a Big Boy model H006M. I picked it from Joe Camele of Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. Joe says to say hi to you. I am attaching a picture of me and my grandson Lance Gibson Jr. ( my son Lance Sr. is taking the pic) holding the most beautiful rifle I have ever owned. I have 9 other rifles, this make 10. We comprised 3 generations shooting your product that day at our clubs shooting range. It certainly attracted a large gathering of admirers.
I consider your H006M a work of art, which scored bullseye after bullseye on my first time shooting it. I look forward to future purchases of your rifles and will certainly be telling everyone I can to view your web site in order to see all of your product line.
All the best,
First let us thank you for the beautiful wood and engraving that went into my 17 HMR. We especially want to thank you for the extra special addition of our engraved initials. This truly made a special occasion that much more special.
The photos are of Dave, the owner of The Hunters Den, handing me the rifle. The workmanship of the whole gun is outstanding, and we appreciate your personal attention you put into making a special rifle for our occasion.
