Henry Customer Letters
Rather than receiving a chocolate covered marshmallow bunny for Easter, my wife gave me a Golden Boy. It is a marvelous piece of workmanship and beautiful wood stock. Indeed, an excellent example of American craftsmanship. Now I can shoot my own bunny.
We raffle off a Henry Golden Boy Rifle every year for our local Quick Response Unit.

Thank you! By the way, I got my first woodchuck of the year today with my Henry 22 lever action and I posted a couple of photos of it on my blog next to your rifle. You can use the photo if you'd like.
Dear Mr. Imperato
On behalf of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, I would like to personally thank you for continuing your support of our hunter education program as well as your outstanding support of the International Hunter Education Association's efforts to promote safe, knowledgeable, responsible hunting and sporting arm practices. I have known you for a long time, and it never ceases to amaze me of your willingness to give generously to help us help the volunteers. On a personal note, my 14 year old son has a Golden Boy .22 and it shis favorite gun. Thanks again.

Here is a picture of my son Lee w/ his new Henry Lever Youth model. He absolutely loves it and shows it off every chance he gets. He can't wait to go squirrel hunting w/ me this fall and see how all his practicing pays off. Again, thanks to everybody at Henry for a job well done.
This letter is in reply to your previous letter in which you had asked me to send you some pictures of the finished gun case that I was going to make for my Golden Boy LR22. I just so happens that I finished it on Fathers Day. In the picture you can see a button on my shirt that says that I'M THE BOSS This button was given to me by my family how very appropriate considering I've got the Golden Boy, HA! HA! The only stipulation was I had to give it back to my wife in the morning! Well at least I get to keep my gun! Just a few words on the Gun. It's great, the lever action is smooth and it's very easy to sight and adjust. I try to shoot it on a regular basis.
P.S. One of these days I shall have a BIG BOY as well!
Mr. Imperato, I hope you get this. This is my son Llogan Morris with his first squirrel and your youth model lever action.
Dear Mr. Imperato,
On 12/25/05 my parents gave me a Henry Lever action .22 H001. I cannot find the right words to express my thanks for building a high-quality, affordable rifle that is very safe and fun to shoot. Keep up the good work.
Never thought I'd head down to Manhattan's only gun shop and pick up a brand new Henry Big Boy .44 Magnum. My knees wobbled just a bit when I opened up the box and gazed in awe at one of the most beautiful rifles I've every seen. I just cradled it in my arms and remained silent. I'm not exaggerating. The clerk behind the counter had a little smile on his face and said nothing. I think he knew the feelings that coursed through me. Maybe he saw them before with other shooting enthusiasts who love a beautifully crafted shooting machine. It will be coming along to my shooting club upstate with a few boxes of .44 Magnum ammo. I hope the guys up there won't be too jealous. I'll let them take a few shots. But not too many. I know I'm in for a grand time.

Dear Mr. Imperato,
It was a honor and pleasure to have met the President of Henry Repeating Arms Co. the maker of the greatest gun ever made. Your rifles are very accurate, fun to shoot and so very handsome. The Henry display was the first one I was looking for once I arrived at the NRA Convention. And it was everything I thought it would be... pure class. My name is JoAnn Testa and I am from the small town of Lake Linden located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I presently own all the Henry rifles except your Big Boy Special Editions. But hope to someday. Again it was great meeting you and look forward to future Henry's.
It was a pleasure being with you again at the NRA Annual Meeting in Milwaukee. You may remember me as the Treasurer of the Fox Valley Area Friends of the NRA committee. I'm the fellow that told you about my wife being so excited about wining one of your youth model lever action .22's.
We are also the couple that had pictures taken at our wedding reception showing our minister and ourselves holding three of your H001's. The background included our NRA field Rep, his two sons and nine or ten (depending on the picture) of the members of our FNRA committee. You had asked for and I am e-mailing you copies of these two pictures.
We greatly appreciate your continued support of the Friends of the NRA Program and in particular our local Fox Valley Area Friends of the NRA committee.

We finally got our first Henry. I've attached a picture of our son TJ holding the prized Golden Boy 22lr. You guys truly make a beautiful gun for the money, the quality is incredible. The only thing we're going to add is the brass barrel band. Thanks for making our Henry.

The rifle is amazing. The lever action was so smooth and the compliments we got-we were shooting with some ex-military people and they loved Alyx's new Henry!!!!! No one could believe the quality and good looks of this rifle.
Oh by the way, Grandpa's mom and her brothers were gunsmiths for Winchester in New Haven, Connecticut for many years. He said he would stack-up Alyx's Henry to any Winchester lever-action he ever shot.
It was a great family day of shooting and I thank you for such a wonderful rifle.

Hello Mr. Imperato,
Thank you for taking time to visit with us at the NRA Show. Attached are the photos taken at the Henry booth with US Olympic Shooting Team members Lindsay Hollin and Haley Dunn. It was nice to meet you and members of your staff. Thank you for supporting USA Shooting and the efforts of our team.
I have wanted a Henry Rifle for years after growing up and watching all the good Ole cowboy movies, but girls just didn't ask for guns for Christmas. Then a couple years ago I picked up a brochure that I just carried with me all the time, dreaming of a "Henry Golden Boy .22" Last spring I made mention of this gun to a dear friend of mine and showed him the brochure. I was totally shocked in November when he gave me the Henry Golden Boy as a gift for helping him.
So thank you Anthony for Henry Repeating Arms and keeping them American made.
Thank you Steven for my .22 rifle that I've dreamed about for years because the Golden Boy isn't just for Boys anymore!
I was born and raised in Kentucky where you can use a rifle to take deer. The 45/70 is a great brush gun for those close shots you get in the woods there. I can say from experience that even if you get a mediocre shot on a deer that 405 grain slug will stop them within a few yards....the 405 grain bullets work best..I hand load and have tried just about every weight available. Plus a 45/70 is easy to handload. I guess people like that big slow moving slug. I know I sure do! Thanks for getting back to me! I do appreciate it!
Here's a photo I thought you might like to see....this is my then 8 month old daughter Ella....she was just fascinated with your catalog.
Thank you very kindly for your follow up. I would like you to know I purchased the Henry Carbine with the Loop lever. It shoots like a dream. Thank you for making a sweet looking and straight shooting firearm.

Anthony, it was my pleasure visiting you. You do so much for youth shooting and I can't thank you enough. Below is a picture took of you and our two young men at the Shotshow.

I thought you might enjoy seeing a target from a recent visit to the range. This 5 shot group was shot from the bench with the factory iron sights on my H001T. Did I forget to mention that it was shot at 100 yards? The extreme center to center spread is a very impressive 1.08", and I haven't installed the tang sight yet! The ammo used was SK Rifle Match. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with my rifle.

I am a Registered Maine Guide and a December squirrel hunt for myself and sons provides a peaceful recuperation from the month long November deer season. As you can see from the pic I take squirrel hunting as serious as any of my guests who come to Maine to hunt big racked 200 lb.+ bucks.
My youngest son was unable to get a shot off at this squirrel with his scoped rifle so the 'Old Man' stepped in to shoot it thru the neck at 65 yds. with the Golden Boy.
I am a traditional hunter and the styling of the Golden Boys 20" octagon barrel with buckhorn sights fills this role in its purest form. I am very pleased with this rifle.
