Dear Henry Repeating Arms,

I was recently reminded of the lever action .22lr I recieved for my 18th Birthday from my father, and I wanted to let you know what a great rifle it is. I recieved it simoultaneously for not only my 18th birthday, but also the completion of the rank of Eagle Scout, so it's a very special rifle to me. Soon after I recieved it, my father and I took our annual trip to the Oregon High Desert, in a place called Maupin Oregon right on the banks of the Deschutes river. We go there several times a year to relax, shoot and juts generally enjoy the outdoors. Previous to me owning the lever action, I used a ruger 10/22, but having recently acquired your rifle, I brought it instead. I gave it a pretty good test, putting at least 300 rounds through it that weekend alone, and it performed great. We were shooting at ranges from 50-170 yards, open sights, and it was great. At the long end, I was hitting fry pans in moderate wind with fairly consistant results, a testament to how accurate your rifle is. After the weekend was over, I had noticed that the feed tube on the rifle had come loose, causing feed problems. So we sent it in, and in no time we had the rifle back, fixed and looking beautifal. I just wanted to say thank you for making a great product here in the USA, and I hope to pass my own Henry down for generations to come. God Bless, and keep up the good work!

I bought a mini-bolt for my son a few years back. This year he is big enough to shoot it. He is four and will be five in a few months. I took out a few times already this summer and he has a blast with his gun. Dad loves it too (for my son that is, but just between me and you I had some fun putting a couple of shots through it).

Hello,

My name is Wilfried Stoecker from good old Germany. I purchase two Golden Boy's - one for me and one for our Sport Shooting Club SSV Fehl-Ritzhausen. We think this is the best .22 lr we've ever shoot. Our Clubmembers are very satisfied with this Rifle.

To the good folks at Henry Repeating Arms Company, Thank you for the catalog. I am now the VERY proud owner of a Golden Boy .22L.R. This rifle is a joy just to look at and hold, but it is even more of a pleasure to use. Accuracy is great the feel, balance, and finish are excellent! When I brought it home I couldn't keep everyone's hands off of it. My mom tried to latch on to it for her. My brother who believes if it ain't a mauser it's probably not worth owning commented on what a slick gun it was. When I asked him if he ment the action or the gun itself he said "Both!". Any chance you will make a case hardened levergun in 30-30 and 45-70? These would be great guns for big game hunting! Extremely happy customer,

P.S I purchased the gun from Dave's Gun's in Holland,Indiana. They went above and beyond in their excellent service. They even gave a free bottle of gun cleaning oil, to care for my new Golden Boy. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat!

Dear Mr. Imperato,

Just to let you know, I did purchase a Henry H001. I have used it as my saddle gun on horse back camping outings. As in all of the threads that I have read about your .22 cal rifles, mine too was right on target out of the box. I too would like to add to the very long list of satisfied Henry owners. Like all of them have said and I repeat, " Thank-you for building a GREAT, AMERICAN made product!!!!"

Yesterday I purchased a used Henry Acu-bolt with the 4x scope on it in .17HMR. The rifle only had had 15 shots run thru it with Hornady Varmit Express loads with V-MAX bullets.

I was more than skeptical about purchasing a caliber the size of a BB, because I'm from Texas and bigger is always better. So I was more than impressed when I took the first shot with that Lil Henry. The very first shot I took was at a Jack Rabbit around 120 yards away. All I could see was it's head sticking out of its burrow. I thought that there was no chance I could hit that target. Much to my amazement, I shot, and the rabbit did a complete flip out of the hole and just laid there. I've shot hundreds of rabbits with my old Winchester 22 pump and you might see where the bullet entered, and you might not. This Lil Henry with the BB sized projectile was amazing. Not only could you see where the bullet had entered the rabbit, but there wasn't much left of the other side of the rabbits head. If I hadn't known better I would of thought that the rabbit had been shot with a 22-250 or something equivalant. My hat is off to you at Henry for producing a high quality rifle at an affordable price.

I've already called my two best hunting buddies and told them they need to go down and buy a Henry ACU-BOLT as soon as possible. I've always wanted a Henry with the brass reciever in 44-40 or 45-70 cal. I'm going to be looking for one now. But right now I'm on my way to buy 500 rounds for my Lil Henry BB gun. I just love it! Old Hippy Redneck from Texas.

Mr. Imperato,

I'm a firearms instructor for the Providence Police, Providence, RI I spent almost six months out of the year on the range training officers.

I've been involved in shooting sports since I was a Boy Scout. Lets just say it was a long time ago. Shooting a .22 LR is something I haven't done in a long time. Most of my time is on a bolt gun or an M-4. That's work.

I saw the Henry Ad and became intrigued. Yes, I bought one. The Golden Boy. I have to tell you my afternoons have become less boring. We run three lines a day for the officer to qualify. My partner and I now gulp our lunches down to plink with the Golden Boy before the next line comes in to "qual".

You have a great product. That I'm sure, you already know. I'm thinking of picking up the Survival Rifle to throw in my ruck when I take the kids up north to Maine.

Keep up the good work.

Sincerly

I just had to send you a thank you. I thought when I bought my first Henry rifle, an H001, I was impressed with the smooth action and comfortable feel it has to shoot. Since that time I have just purchased a Golden Boy .17HMR. I didn't think it possible but I was even more impressed with this rifle. It has an even smoother action and with 2 minor adjustments on the sights it was giving me a pattern better than I have had in years. I can't say enough about this fine piece of workmanship. I am sure you are proud of your employees but I would like to say that I am proud of them too as they have made a firearm made in America that I feel is one of the finest rifles I have had the pleasure to shoot. Please express my thanks to them and let them know that I am going to be ordering another Golden Boy and also am looking at the Survival rifle to add to my collection. Thanks again

Mr. Imperto I have been a collector of .22 caliber rifles for many years now. I recently bought my 13 year old son one of your .22 lever actions and could not believe how well the rifle was built and how accurate it was. The next month I purchased your pump action with octagon barrel for myself. I have to say these two rifles shoot as well or better as any of the more expensive guns in my collection. I have become a real fan of Henry Repeating Arms Co. and plan to purchase each model and caliber in the Henry Repeating Arms rifle line.

Sincerely,

I won a .22LR Henry Golden Boy at the local Van Zandt County, Texas Friends of NRA banquet last year. I have two brothers-in-law who pride themselves in their long time to acquire Browning shotgun collections, which are truly nice. But either would easily trade any gun they have for my "Golden Boy. Possibly not due to resale value but rather for my Henty's intrinsic uniqueness, historic significance , quality, and overall beauty. My .22 is simply the first in my collection. Next will likely be the .22HMR? varminter. But there will hoprfully, and almost certainly, be several variations in my collection before I reach trail's end. Then I know my sons, grandsons, and yes, even granddaughters will be as proud as I to have thes beautiful and wonderful little firearms with which to prime the pumps of their own collections. My hat is off to all of you at Henry for up-hoding such a tradition of excellence. My mind harkens me back to aong sung by a groupa few years ago . Yhe group was called"The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band". This group had numerous country and soft rock hits spanning numerous years. My all-time favorite of theirs was one of their last recordings, which encapsulated their history, as well as their trsdition as musicians and singers, and it certainly reminds me of the same traits which are closely associated with Henry. The title of the song, written by the Dirt Band's lead singer, is: It's GREAT TO BE PART OF SOMETHING SO GOOD THAT'S LASTED SO LONG."sO BE IT WITH THE "dIRT bAND. sO BE IT WITH hENRY rEPEATING aRMS. aS i WISH MYSELF SUCCESS WITH MY hENRY COLLECTION, I ALSO WISH YOU CONTINUED SUCCESS WITH YOUR WONDERFUL Henry Arms. Thanks, & have a great day. appreciatively,

Bill Pyle
