Henry Customer Letters
Just wanted to let you know that I received the rifles today and the only words I can use to describe my first reaction to these rifles is PERFECT. Thanks so much for the sending the 44's off so quickly and my brother in-law is stopping by tomorrow to pick his up. I can hardly wait to see the 357's when they get here in about four weeks according to our last conversation. The 44 Mag is everything and more than I thought it would be and the wood in these rifles is simply outstanding.
Mr. Imperto, I have received your catalog. After I looked it over,I purchased a Big Boy model Hoo6,(.44 mag) What a wonderful example of fine American craftsmanship. This rifle is now the pride of my collection. Thanks! I'm looking forward to adding other of your fine rifles to my collection.
Purchased my first Henry rifle. What a great rile.I have collected Marlins and Brownings for years. The quality and price of Henry is great.I'm sure I will purchase more.

Thank you, we love our golden boy 22-lr. My partner and I have been together for three years. We live in an area where shooting is not popular, ie, politically incorrect. Nevertheless, I wanted to introduce my girlfriend. That is a tall order considering she is a teacher in a school district that is anti-gun and anti-shooting shorts. She hated guns and the whole gun culture.
Well, this is another Henry Rifle Golden Boy Success story. She would not touch anything unless it was first beautiful to look at. On top of being a whale-kissing, liberal-San Franciscoite, she is also an artist.
Well, I brought home the Golden Boy and took it out of the box. At first she looked at it and said, "You are bringing THAT into my home?" And then I said, "So, you are a teacher in America? Well, this is part of your history, and in fact, in some ways, even part of you. Thank God we are not open minded around our house because if we were not, then we would have to re-evaluate I ideas and feeings. Shoot this just once, if you do not enjoy it, I will sell it."
Well, this morning she asked me, "Don't they make one with a longer octagonal barrel? I mean, the first Henry rifles were longer - more eligant. And they really should make one in 30-30 or perhaps even a 38-55."
So, Henry Rifle, apparently she thinks you should make one with a longer barrel in a 38-55. lol!
My whale-kissing wife-to-be loves her Henry Golden Boy 22LR, but apparently the caliber is too small. Go figure!
We need longer barrels - that look better. Give us two more inches!
Dear Mr. Imperato, I just recieved the 44 Mag. big boy I won from GUN'S magazine. WOW !!!!! It's just simply beautiful !! I've never owned a better looking or better shooting rifle in my life. I took it to a family gathering during the Easter holiday and everyone there was impressed with the beauty of the rifle. Then when we shot it we were REALLY impressed. The sights were perfectly regulated right out of the box, what quality and attention to detail. From twenty to seventyfive yards never a miss, what a tack driver, your company has really done an exceptional job. Many thanks to you and your company for such a wonderful firearm and made in the good old U.S.A. to boot.
I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying owning my Henry Deluxe Engraved .22 LR.
Everyone at the club has been very impressed with the quality of your product, and my local gunsmith who is a good old boy and actually makes gun parts said " this is the best bit of newly manufactured crap I have seen for years ! " If you knew him, you would know that this is a very great compliment !! - and you could not ask for more ! I would expect that others in the club will follow my lead ....
Many thanks ...

This is Ethan Mooberry, you donated a beautiful Golden Boy to me earlier this year and I just wanted to give you an update on things. I had my big surgery on April 10th this year and things went great. I'm starting to walk on my leg now, but I didn't mind the crutches because I could still navigate my way around the shooting range that my uncle and I go to on a weekly basis pretty much. I just can't get over how that Golden Boy shoots, I mean hot damn that is a sweet little rifle. No matter where or what I'm going to shoot, I always take the Golden Boy just in case I want to have some fun for a bit. But things are going great and again, thank you so much for that rifle. After the surgery I had very few things on my mind but that rifle was one of them. I was at the range the day after I got home from Memphis.
Thanks so very much,
I am very glad to see you have stayed in the U.S.A. Its nice to see American Made. I am so sick of made in Mexico, China etc. All these Co. ditching the American People for the Almighty $$$$$$$$ sad :(

To all the employees at Henry Repeating Arms Company:
I just received my Golden Boy rifle after sending it to you a week ago for repairs; and to be totally honest, you are the greatest!
Your quality manufacturing, service after the sale, and immediate attention to the customers concerns has shown me that you have a pride for quality that few manufacturers ever obtain.
Thank you again for your service.

I love my henry golden boy that I bought in 2003. Everybody in my family likes it. At the range it turns heads, and its very accurate. I would never turn to no other rifle in world. It is in 22 caliber. Thanks for reading my feedback.

Thank you very much for your response. My son won this rifle, at a Friends of the NRA dinner, 2 years ago. I have successfully competed, in "pistol" caliber levergun silhouette matches, with this Big Boy and have accumulated 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals since acquiring it. This rifle has both sentimental and competitive value to us.
Dear Mr. Imperato,
Thank you for the finest rifle purchased in a long time. It is a first rifle for my 14 year old grandson, a left handed shooter, and it was important, the first rifle be his best experience. I looked at many rifles in the .22 caliber range and your rifle is the best one on the market. The lever action makes shooting for a lefty, a really good experience, and cleaning it afterwards is also a good experience. This rifle will last him a life time. He enjoys it, takes care of it and we spend a day a week at the range. I bought this rifle at Great Outdoors, in Sacramento, one of your dealers. We shoot at the Cordova Shooting Center, in Rancho Cordova, Ca. The salesman knew the weapon, he knew the product and in all actuality, the rifle sells itself, and it receives quite a few compliments on the range. Thanks for making shooting, great again. Sincerely,
You guys are AWESOME! My husband bought me a 22 LR w/octogon barrel...he has stashed it away for Christmas! I am SO excited! It truly looks like a piece of furniture, it is so beautiful! I know we are concedering more for our collection! Keep up the GREAT work!

The greatest little 22 rifle I have ever shot!
I Own A Few Rifles But I Have To Say My Henery 22lr Is My Favorite Keep Up The Good Work
My wife Carol bought me a Henry .22lr repeater for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. The hooded sight makes long range shooing (for me anyway) an enjoyable treat. I love the smooth action of the lever and really appreciate the side discharge. I never have to worry about hot shells hitting me on the head like her rifle does.
I had a choice between your Henry and Ruger's 10/22 and after doing the research, I felt that the Henry's standard Walnut stocks and classic style made for a more appealing gun and the lever action makes target practice more fun than just pointing and shooting. You feel more part of the gun with a Henry than the Ruger 10/22. The Henry is just plain fun to shoot.
I really enjoy my Henry and am already planning on buying a Big Boy in the future.

Perchasing the Golden Boy for my son last year for christmas has brought hours of fun to us. Mostly it has given us a new to communicate. We target practice for hours, giving me and my 13 year old time to talk. Think you for the craftmanship even a young man like him can tell the difference.
I have a question I need to ask. I purchased a H001T last summer and love it greatly. This thing is extremely accurate and smooth as silk. I just recently purchased a never been fired Marlin 336w
from my father in law and the action in it is so harsh compared to the Henry. I think I will take it to a smith and have them do some internal polishing to smooth it out some. Story: A couple of weekends ago I was with my brother shooting several different firearms when I loaded up the Henry and let loose at one of the targets with all 15 rounds. I knew where the holes punched the paper but when I was done my brother asked, with the typical smart-ass tone, "What were you shooting at?" and I told him right in the black. He didn't believe it so when we walked up to the target I proceeded to count out 15 little holes with a pattern no bigger than a baseball. Needless to say he was impressed. With the Henry of course, not with my shooting ability! Not bad for some one who only gets to shoot about once a month. Just a quick story to pass along if you would like.
Take care and thanks for building an extremely fun gun.
It is truly a pleasure to deal with people that take pride in their products and know what customer service really is.
