Dear Sir,
I am a novice shooter, who has come to the sport only within the past year. I have been shooting a .38 revolver, and a .45 black powder revolver, along with a Marlin .22 semi-automatic rifle. I enjoyed the rifle, but as it is my husband's, it didn't fit me well and I wanted one of my own.
My husband took me to a large gunshop in our area this weekend so I could chose one. I'm a small woman, so finding a long gun that fits "off the rack" is difficult, more so because I wanted a lever-action .22 with iron sights rather than a scope.
Your Henry Youth model was a perfect fit, and its beauty appealed to me as well.
I have fired two boxes of ammo through it already, and the admiration and affection I feel for this little rifle has gone far beyond aesthetic appreciation.
Without any adjustments to the sights, I am consistently unloading it in the ten-ring!
The action is smooth as warm butter, and the trigger pull is crisp and light.
The rifle may have been manufactured at your plant in Brooklyn, but as far as I'm concerned, it was a match made in heaven for me.
It proudly hangs on our living room wall, (unseating my husband's .22 *wink*) and will get much use as I work to hone my markmanship.
My goal is to go deer-hunting, so as I work on my shooting skills, I'm saving my spare dollars... I have my eye on your Big Boy .44!
Thank you for making such a finely crafted firearm available at such a reasonable price.
