Three Eagle Scouts

Eagle scouts Robert Jack Ooton, Joshua Carson Packer, and Kaleb Duane Gregory were presented with a Henry Golden Boy "Eagle Scout" rifle at their Eagle Scout ceremony. All three boys were awed by the beauty of these rifles. As the picture shows, they were thrilled by the thought that they all earned their own. One last note: the ceremony took place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 6th, 2010. Load on Sunday, Shoot All Week Long!

Here is a picture on my son Danny with his HOO4BSA 201 and in full uniform! He loves his rifle, but still has'nt shot it. He says he wants to save it for his Eagle scout son. We'll see. Sorry it took so long, but it seems to be the boy scout way. Thank you again for ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Imperato -

As soon as I got the rifles home, I unwrapped them, photographed them and sent the pictures to my Scouting acquaintances world-wide. Your BSA Commemoratives have been well received by my colleagues in the Scouting community.

"Well you fell in it and came up roses. I have no idea what you paid for those rifles but the walnut in the stocks is beautiful let alone the engraving. The commemoration makes them priceless. They certainly are too pretty for wall hangers (that's a joke, son! - no lectures). In future years, regardless of the books that measure such things, they should be impossible to value. We're honored to introduce this commemorative edition of the American-made Henry Golden Boy as a tribute to all the young men who have earned scouting's highest award.

The gleaming nickel-plated receiver is adorned with spectacular engraving hand cut by Henry engraver Rob Bunting. The right side is highlighted by the image of a majestic bald eagle accented by distinctive American scrollwork and a banner proclaiming the proud sentiment of all Eagle Scouts: Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle. The left side bears the image of the famous Eagle Scout™ medal and banners reading Eagle Scout and Boy Scouts of America. The engraved images on both sides and the winged leaf border are selectively plated with brilliant 24-karat gold.

A tri-colored medallion replicating the Eagle Scout™ badge is inserted into the richly grained American walnut stock. The six badges of advancement which mark a scout's advancement to the Eagle Scout rank and the text Trail to Eagle are inscribed on the right side of the forearm and hand painted with gleaming gold fill.
