Henry Lever Action .22

Letters from Lever Action .22 owners

Anthony: Recently I sent you a picture of me and my grandson with the two new Henry H001 Lever Action 22LR that I bought for us for Christmas. I liked mine so good, that I bought me a Golden Boy 22LR. I am inclosing a picture of me and my prized Golden Boy. My dad gave me my first 22 when I was 5 years old. I have always loved hunting and shooting. But for the last few years I have gotten away from both. Now, I am excited about taking up the sport of shooting again, especially with my grandson. I also have three granddaughters. If they show an interest in shooting, I assure you they will get a Henry! I thank you for such a fine rifle, at such a good price and one that is made in America! You can't get any better than that. I hope one day to own a Big Boy .44. Again, I thank you for making this a good day for this 60 year old man!

I'm the proud owner of the Henry H001. There is nothing better than a day in the field knocking down soda cans. I own several .22's but this is my favorite, no kidding! This is not a sales pitch, just the truth.

Mr. Imperado,

I want to say "thank you" for making such a find product as the Henry rifle.  I'm a big ..22 shooter, and had been on the market for a lever-action .22.  After doing a little research (mostly just reading your website and they many complimentary letters) I decided the Henry was the rifle for me.  I bought it yesterday morning, and I can truly say I've never had a finer rifle straight out of the box!  The stock is beautiful, the bluing is deep and rich, and I've never felt a smoother action.  To say I am pleased with it is an understatement!

Last night I watched your RFDtv interview on the website and that just made me even prouder of my Henry.  I try to buy American whenever possible, and it's great to have a truly all-American product.

There will definitely be another Henry rifle in my future (probably the .17HMR as I'm a big fan of that caliber).  I don't know when it will be, but rest assured there will be another Henry in my hands as soon as I can make it happen!  Until then, I want to get me a hat so I can give you a little free advertising on my big head (here in Florida I'm one of those people that if I'm out of the house and not at work or church I'm wearing a hat)!  Look forward to an order from me very soon.   Many thanks and may God bless you!

I bought a HENRY 22 lever action and it is a better gun than my Ruger 10/22. You make a great gun!

Mr. Imperato,   I had recently been looking for a .22 rifle to replace my old one but I wanted a more traditional style rifle than I've had in the past. I looked at bolt action rifles and semi auto rifles but I could not find one that spoke to me. Then, as luck would have it, a Henry Repeating Arms catalog came in the mail. While flipping through the catalog, I came across the lever action Frontier model .22 and I knew I had found the rifle I 'd been looking for. I had never owned a lever action rifle before and I was concerned whether I would like the action, but I decided to give it a try (childhood thoughts of the old west helped a bit). I ordered the Henry Frontier Model .22 rifle from Mid-State Gun Co. in Coventry, RI. When it arrived and I saw it for the first time, I knew I made the right decision. I was attracted to the rifle because of its octagon barrel, handsome walnut stock and its old west style. The rifle looked better than I could imagine and I was amazed at how smooth the action functioned.  I could not wait to get it to the range and put some rounds through it.  Range day came and it performed flawlessly!

I am so impressed with my Henry lever action that I just went back to the gun store and ordered a Henry Big Boy in .45 colt. Thank you for making a superb, all American rifle at an affordable price. Benjamin Tyler Henry would be proud!   Sincerely,

Mike Flanagan

I bought a Henry 22 cal. lever action rifle a couple of years ago and have shot against a browning lever action 22 cal rifle and the henry performed and outshot the browning ten  to one. There was no comparison. Pease keep up the quality and craftsmanship of your guns because they are absolutly the best.

Dear Henry Rifle

I purchased a Henry H001 last week, this is my first lever rifle. What a smooth action and is accurate also.

I would recommend one of these to anyone who is interested in a lever rifle. I have been shooting for almost 40 years and have been shooting NRA high power and CMP Garand and Vintage matches for the last 5 years, so I know a good rifle when I shoot one.

I am very impressed.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Anthony

I'm going to make this short.

I bought a 22 Henry Rifle love it so much I bought the 22 magnum Golden Boy, Then you had to make a 3030 So I ordered that one today.

If I bought the Henry first it would be the only rifles I would own.

It seems we don't make very many products in the USA anymore, but when we do they are still the best, the action of the lever action is the smoothest I have ever seen.

Hi,

I just had to send you a quick note to say thank you for the quality .22 rifle that my husband purchased this past December.  He has arthritis in his shoulders so the lever action has been a great improvement for him.  He is tickled to pieces with his .22.  I have never seen him so taken with anything as he is with his new rifle.  Sometimes I wonder if he is going to take the .22 to bed instead of me! Rod just loves the shape, the feel, the octagon barrel, the way the rifle handles and the accuracy!  He is thrilled with it.  The best part is that the rifle is American made. Thank you for the enjoyment that he is having.  I told him, "You are 80 years old, if you want it, get it."  I'm glad he did.  We live in northern Vermont so we still have several feet of snow on the ground so the target is close to the house so Rod doesn't have to wade through the snow to get to it.  He can't wait for spring so he can see how well the Henry really fires!

Thanks again for the quality and the enjoyment.

Mr. Imperato,

There are no words to express the feeling of satisfaction and pride that I felt when I received your email in response to my inquiry about restoring the finish on my H001 rifle. It is pure pleasure for me to know that a company such as yours still exists in America today and you can rest assured that my friends and family will know about too! You can also be sure that when I am ready to purchase another rifle my Henry dealer will be the first stop.

The replacement part has been received and installed and my little .22 looks like new.

Thanks again,

Thomas Fink
