Mr. Imperato, A few years ago I purchased the golden boy 17 cal., very impressive indeed. A couple of winters ago the 17 cal. amazed me with its' accuracy and downing power. I was awakened by my dogs' barking and saw a coyote in my back yard, I grabbed the 17 and took aim. One shot and the coyote went down. I paced off the distance, 80 yds.. The coyote weighed approx. 50 lbs., quite large. I'm still in awe over that experience with the 17. I've hunted for years with big bore rifles and I never dreamed a 17 cal. could be so devastating. Henry made me a believer. I'm looking at purchasing the Henry 44 mag. in the near future. My hats off to the folks at Henry.

Mr. Anthony Imperato, We received my wife's instruction booklet and it is in beautiful condition. And by the way she was very impressed that you also included her name. She says at times, seems like the women are forgotten in the firearms sport. You made my day and hers because you made her feel good. We both like guns and have collected guns for many years and just do plinking type of shooting...no competition. And enjoy it very much. Not too much hunting for me now days. I can't say it enough: Her Henry .22 Mag is a gorgeous piece of heirloom quality workmanship along with one of the most outstanding stocks I have ever seen on a rifle. Her Henry rifle is on the same level of beauty as some of our Kimber and Cooper rifles. She saw this rifle on the rack at Gander Mtn (the type that you can freely handle the firearms). She picked up her Henry...Well she would not let it out of her hands as there were other people looking at the rifles also. I had to go find the salesperson while she stood there and held 'Her' Henry rifle...She said 'this is mine'...I said 'Okay' I'll be right back. After we got it home I oiled and cleaned up her cheerished purchase and it is even more beautiful looking at home. We would just like to 'Thank you' for her booklet and building a top quality firearm. Your emlpoyees should feel very good about themselves for caring about the outstanding quality workmanship that they do. And it starts at the Top...and it shows how you treat your employees. And in ending we are going to make sure that this end of the retail (receiving end) hears how we appreciate and like the fine quality from Henry Repeating Arms. And we do have our sights set on further purchases of your rifles,
Gary & Judith J.

I just received my H001M rifle and am very pleased with it. Accurate and smoother than my 39 Marlin. I was just wondering if you have thought or had plans of bringing it out in something a tad bigger than the 22 mag. Like a 22 hornet? A lever in a hornet would be a great varmit rifle. What do you think?

I live on a small farm in Alabama where a good gun is a necessity while running a tractor in the fields. Snakes, coyotes, and varmints are sometimes a problem. I feel the 22 mag. is the best all around caliber for the job.
I just purchased a H001M and it is the finest rim fire I have ever owned. I have two Winchesters and a Marlin lever gun and yours is the smoothest and most accurate gun I have ever owned. The wood on this gun is exceptional. Fit and finish is better than some expensive shotguns I own. With a 3x9 scope this gun shoots less than one inch at 100 yards shooting from a bench rest. I had one group of 1/2 inch. I think what I like the most is "Made in the USA".
I have just one problem. The gun is so pretty that I hate to ding it up on a tractor, but I bough it as a working gun.
You make a great product and keep up the good work. Bruce H. Hansen

Dear Sir,
I promised I would send along a photo of the first predator taken with my new Henry 22 magnum lever action. He didn't have a chance. I took your advice and tested and used Remington ammunition. It feeds very smooth and I dare say I've been bragging to everyone about the results. Please post this letter and picture in your letters column, and I thank you for producing such a fine firearm.
Best Regards,

"Last March I purchased your 22 magnum lever action rifle. The sole purpose for buying this rifle was to use on my upcoming alligator hunt down in the swamps of southern Louisiana in September. had made up my mind that if I were to purchase a new rifle, it had to meet certain criteria. That being: 1) Reliability 2) Affordability 3) Appearance
When I arrived in Louisiana, a tropical depression had already set in. I was down there for four days and it poured the whole time I was there. Due to the weather the gators were scarce. We really had to work for the two that I harvested. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the performance of this new rifle in such conditions.
This rifle was put through everything imaginable. It was knocked over, constantly exposed to a mixture of salt air and rain and even knocked out of the boat by a thrashing alligator! I have never put any of my firearms through such a test before. I can honestly say that your rifle performed flawlessly! It definitely proved its reliability. The thing that also impressed me, was how you could produce a beautiful rifle at such an affordable price.
Of all the firearms I own, this is by far my favorite! My seven-year-old daughter likes to go plinking with me, but my old 22 cal. is still a little long for her. So without any hesitation I purchased your Henry Mini Bolt. It fits her perfectly and she just loves it!
I just wanted to let you folks know what a fine product you have. I have also attached a picture of me with the ten foot gator that I took, thanks to your rifle."
