I am just getting ready to purchase my third Henry rifle. I first purchased a Varmint Express and absolutely love it, using it to dispatch a pesky and destructive raccoon on our farm. Next I bought a Golden Boy in .22 Magnum which also dispatched a raccoon sick with rabies last year. I am just getting ready to purchase a youth model lever so I can take my nephews squirrel hunting when they visit this summer. My wife is looking forward to also using it herself so we can hunt together.

I own 2 Winchester 94's, 2 Marlin levers (a 336 and an 1894 in .44 Mag) and I can say without any reservation that the Henry rifles are my favorite rifles. After the youth rifle is purchased I start saving for your new 30/30. Between that and Hornady's new Leverevolution ammo I can't imagine a better brush gun for Michigan U.P. deer hunting. I have always loved lever guns and your's are top of the heap.

I received my catalog about 5 days after I ordered it, what a well laid out and informative catalog. I just took possession of your varmint express 17. HMR, there's not enough o's in the word smooooth to describe it's action, which is just as nice as it's accuracy. The only problem I have with the rifle is it is too accurate and now when i miss a shot I can't blame the rifle. The other thing that amazed me about Henry rifles was when I ordered the catalog and gave you my email address I was expected to be bombarded with emails which I was not. In conclusion keep up the good work, your company is one I'll be doing more business with in the future.

now own a .17 Varmint Express and a model H001 22. These guns are unbelievable shooters and a steal at their respective prices. I tell all of my hunting/shooting friends to own at least one. You bet I received my catalog and less than a week I was in Bass Pro purchasing the Henry Varmint Express .17 HMR. At 55 years of age I'm still like a kid in a candy shop when it comes to firearms. I have Winchester and Marling lever actions and they do not compare to the smoothness of this .17 HMR. I could not be more pleased than I am with this Henry rifle.

In February I went into Bilson's Sport Shop in Turlock Ca. to look at a hand gun. The salesman was showing a Henry rifle to another customer and asked if I had ever looked at one. After handling the rifle and seeing how smooth the action worked, I ordered the Varmint Express .17 HMR. Within the next 2 weeks I ordered 2 more Henry's, a Golden Boy .17HMR and a Big boy .44 Mag. This my first experence owning a Henry Rifle. I could not be happier with the rifles. They are such a pleasure to shoot that I will proble have to start buying ammo in large quantities. I am going to talk to the dealer about a Henry Big Boy Deluxe. Thank you for making such a great rifle and it is so nice to buy something that is made in America.
