I just gave my 9 year old daughter a Henry lever action Youth model. My daughter says its really "cool" and she loves shooting it. Hitting the metal targets is really easy and the gun is pretty

The way we are going through ammo I'm glad it shoots .22 shorts as well as LR.

I was looking for a quality .22 for my 9 year old son, and had to look no further than Henry. I purchased a youth lever at Miller Rod and Gun and he absolutely loves it. I told him that I was jealous because he now has a nicer .22 than his old man. But not for long, I fell in love the the Golden Boy and plan to purchase one as soon as I get enough money saved. Again, thank you for all your help and keep up the excellent work (tradition).

Dear Henry, I recently purchased a Henry Lever Action 22 LR for my new born son. I never owned a 22 before and I own many guns of all types and styles. I purchased the Henry for two reasons, one being that it would be a terrific rifle for my son to learn on in the future and the wonderful design of the rifle,Two was the fact that the company is in Brooklyn NY,being a native son of that great city. Dear sir; just to let you know that i bought a henry youth model for a 12 year old girl to learn how to shoot and to have fun, but most important i purchased a henry lever action 22 words cannot describe the wood and grain this 22 has its unreal. i am very thrilled to see you market the 22 in the hex barrel. Thank you very much for the attention and time you gave to me. I sent my Henry Golden Boy .22LR to you a couple of weeks ago for repair. The hammer had been broken off during shipping. I sent it on a Monday, and by the next Monday I received a letter confirming you had my rifle, and a brief explanation of what your repair shop found and what they intended to do. I received the rifle one week later and was extremely happy to see it again. It was fully repaired, in pristine condition, and had obviously been handled with great care.

Thank you for such a quick turn around, great customer service, and for making such a high quality firearm. When I wrote to your company, I expected to deal with a customer service representative and to get the usual run around until I finally got to someone who could actually help me.
