The two words that best describe this rifle are "absolutely" and "awesome". My wife got it for me as a birthday present, and it's going right in my pack for squirrel hunting. As a US Marine, my buddies and I have been able to shoot some interesting firearms, but we were all really surprised by this one. Very accurate, and once you find the right rounds, really reliable. With CCI Velocitor hollow points at 20 yards rapid fire, all but one shot hit within the 3/4" ring. Everyone at the range wants to see it-hold it-shoot it. I love it. I am definitely looking forward to my next Henry birthday.

Dear Anthony, I just brought home my US Survivor Rifle, as I was assembling it, it became apparent that this is a high quality firearm and was impressed with the fit and thought that went into its design. This was bought to carry in my jeep. I have many other guns but this will always be with me and I look forward to using it. My thanks for producing a quality economical gun in times that are tough to make ends meet without cutting corners. I appreciate the fine company and tradition that you are obviously upholding.

Hey Anthony, All I can say is....WOW! The Golden Boy is one of the best looking rifles I've ever seen and simply the best I've ever owned. And you know how I feel about the Survival Rifle. A BIG thanks for both. I took them both immediately to my ex-father-in-law's house. He was a collector of both handguns and rifles until his stroke about 2 years ago. I knew that seeing these 2 very cool rifles would brighten his day...and I think the pictures tell the story.

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to pry the Golden Boy out of Joe's hands. He used to load his own ammo until his illness prevented him from seeing.

Years ago I had purchased an Explorer Version of the AR-7 Survival Rifle, it's accuracy was acceptable but not great. Never the less I had sold it a number of years ago, and had always regreted it. So this year I purchased a new "Henry version". To my surprise the accuracy was exceptionally better than my old gun. Shoot decent ammo like you would in any gun and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have just rounded out my collection of Henry's with your Big Boy .44 magnum. Am I ever excited! My eighteen year old daughter loved the lever action .22 so much, I just had to give it to her. Might have to get another, though it's a toss up as I got your survival .22 and am soooo impressed by it! Thanks for your efforts, you are great Americans.

I just purchased your Survival Rifle. I love it !!!

I was wondering if in the next version, you could extend the end stock about 2" longer, to facilitate a small cleaning kit? This would be very helpful if you were in an emergency away from civilization for any length of time.

I would love to have enough room for a coiled up bore snake and two small eyedropper type bottles for solvent and oil (maybe even a few extra rounds). Perhaps you can make a moulded kit that would fit snuggly into the new recess?
