You had quite an impression on him; since meeting you, he has told the story over and over, perfecting his Brooklyn accent, when he quotes you, "I like the way you look, kid." Since he's only 8 years old, it's pretty funny to hear.

I'm retired from the military and I have recently started taking my young nephews out .22 plinking with their rifles. I needed to buy a .22 and I prefer lever action. For my first rifle purchase out side of the military I knew right from the get go that I wanted a Henry rifle. Historically it was Henry that paved the way for the success of the lever action rifle. I also had faith that Henry Rifles are quality rifles. As a combat infantry man who has spent a lot of time around firearms I know if a rifle is good or junk. The Henry Lever Action is defiantly a good rifle. I commend your company on producing a rifle that is solidly built and reliable. The smooth uncluttered lines of the rifles shape and the non checkered stocks give it a great traditional look. Accuracy "right out of the box" is excellent! She hits were I point her! I appreciate the Hooded Front Sight to protect the sight post and the drop in the stock comb from the barrel line makes her a real "natural feeling" rifle to get shouldered and sighted quickly. The cycling of the lever action assemble is fantastic. I have shot Winchester .22 lever and the Henry rifle is the smoother lever. My nephews love it when I "combat sweep" (engaging targets left to right as fast as I can while maintaining accuracy). That slick lever movement allows me to maintain a sight picture while cycling the next round and thanks to your great quality I have not had a misfire or feed/extraction malfunction. I have shot countless rounds through this rifle and she just keeps on ticking. As far as cleaning goes I was a bit apprehensive about the small side ejection port which is the only access to the breach, bolt face, and ammunition feed assemble. However, I have found the design of that area has the important surfaces to be cleaned "flat faced" with out a lot of small grooves or edges to hide carbon build up. A child's toothbrush has a small bristle head, and that makes it easy to get in and scrub the needed areas effectively. I am so impressed by your rifle that I purchased a Mini Bolt .22 for a "extra rifle" in case my nephews ask if they can bring a friend. I really like this little rifle too. I find the stock to be a comfortable fit even for my 6'-3", 210lbs frame. I am going to have as much shooting it as they will! My next purchase from your company will defiantly be a Big Boy in .44 Magnum. I have a .357 Winchester 94 Trapper that I bought dirt cheap. However I know a genuine Henry "booming" out .44's would retire that Winchester and make me as happy as a kid in a candy shop. Keep up the great work!

I received the Henry rifle for a X-Mas gift. Wow! I sure was surprised. It shoots & handles great. I sure enjoy shooting it at targets and just plinking around. It really has a smooth action. I salute the people who make this rifle. Great job abd well done! Sincerely,

Dear Sir, Both my 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son each received a Mini Bolt .22 rifle from Santa (Ho Ho Ho!) this Christmas. They could not be more excited. The guns fit them perfectly and the very low recoil of the .22 has them wanting to shoot for hours. Your timing couldn't be better, the catalogs arrived here in Baghdad today, Christmas Day. About half are gone already and I expect the rest by weeks end....I'd expect to sell at least a few more rifle in WA State in the Feb-Mar time frame.
